Can I just say...yum!  I am sitting here during my lunch hour eating and reading about green barf balls and tootsie roll poop.  LOL!  This thread is MOST intertaining lunch reading. LOL!

I am new to the site so I am getting caught up on all the reading.

I just want to sympathize with you.  I got my chow (Tsu) in 94 and being a single 23 year old woman then, she became my furchild.  I just don't think some people get it.  Especially the non-animal and faux animal people.  As I see it, there are three types of people, non-animal people, faux animal people (the ones that say they are animal lovers but can get and give away/put down/drop off pets that are a bother for some stupid reason, then there are people like the ones here on BPO.  ;)

My mother-in-law cannot comprehend WHY we would want an American Mastiff (who will be here around Easter).  "They are so big!  You aren't going to have it in the house are you?"  UGH.  I would rather have an AM in my house than my sister-in-law's Pom who yaps all the time, jumps off and on you the minute you are still, is up in your face and spazzy and wasn't trained properly to go OUTSIDE to potty.  Yes, my sis-in-law is a faux animal person.  My mother-in-law has always had poodles so my chow's hair makes her crazy and the sheer size of an AM is about to do her in.  LOL!  I think they just need something to complain about sometimes.

Keep your chin up (rugburn sucks!) and when you feel down, just get a hug and a lick from your furbaby!

I hope all is going well!  I am sure Stash will be happy to see you this afternoon!  My husband is on a 2 week rotation at work, so hopefully when our puppy gets here, the initial week will be one that he is on nights so someone will be home both night and day.  Isn't it nuts how quickly they steal our hearts???

I like Wyatt too, but my nephew is Wyatt so that is already taken.  ;)

I am liking Fergus, Thor and Rajah...it was easier naming our son.  I swear!

I love Bear!  What a handsome boy!  I have loved Newfies and have wanted one for a few years now.  My husband decided on a mastiff but I LOVE newfoundlands and your Bear is beautiful.

We are expecting our AM puppy around Easter.  I am in search of a big, strong name...we have been calling him Magnus since July but I am not 100% sold on it-there are so many Magnus' out there.  We have also bounced around Kahn, Ra, Angus...Just thought someone might think of a really cool, masculine name.  I would like to stick to one or two syllables too.  Thanks!!

He is beautiful!  Did you happen to get him from Fredericka?  Our puppy will be born in February and I am almost as anxious for him to get here as I was our son!
