Anything Non-Dog Related / Just one of them days......
« on: May 25, 2006, 12:37:39 pm »
Anyone want to join me for a crying movie or two (or more)?  I'm stressed out more than I can handle and getting the mental stuffing beat out of me by life (and myself) and I could really use a good cry.  Anyone care to join in?   :'( :'( :'(

Mick Foster huh? I think that name suits him perfectly. He is sooo cute and looks innocent but something tell me you maybe using his middle name alot too!  ;D :D ;D

I totally agree that he looks absolutely adorable, but if you think he looks innocent I think you need to go back to that first picture and take a good look at those eyes.  He's completely FOS and you know he'll be up to no good every chance he gets!  My kind of dog!   ;D

Oh, and if he comes up missing, don't look at me! O:)

You guys are amazing thank you so much. I am printing everything out and sticking it on the refrigerator. I feel so awful about this, but the numbing pain in my right hand and figers reminds me he really needs some help!!! Thanks again everyone  :-\

I'm' sorry you're having to deal with this.  Unfortunately it's likely to get worse for a bit before it gets better.  I really hope everything works out for you and your pup.

Naw you're not wierd...At least with the aggressive Alphas there is no question what you're dealing with & what your next move should be...I have a "quiet Alpha" girl & it's like a da** chess match with her...Though sometimes I am not sure whos in check. :-\

I totally know what you mean.  Holly gets away with far more than she should because she's one of the quiet, sneaky ones.  She slips under my radar far too often than i'd care to admit.  We did figure out that she feels way too high up on the ladder if she's allowed on the couch at all or in my lap, and if you do it once she assumes she can do it whenever she feels like it and doesn't like being told otherwise so no more of those for her.   ;)  I noticed the last few days that she's turned hard of hearing and it goes right along with when I started letting her on the couch again.   ::)

I agree that it's Alpha issues.  Personally with a guy that set in his position, I would not only NOT free feed, but I'd take it a step further and hand feed him whenever possible..  If he snaps or gets nasty, take it away and he gets nothing to eat.  He's not stupid and he's not going to starve before he figures out what's going on.

Personally I find the agressive type alpha dogs much easier to deal with that the quietly alpha types, but that's just me.  I'm weird like that.  ::)

I still can't believe he let her do that!  I hope he has the b@11s to say something when asked.  I'm sure he won't go on his own though.  Izzy is an idiot!

Oh! and I think this whole thing will open up her hidden issues about being needy, low self esteem etc.  They could really build on a girl who falls in love with every nice man who just happens to be dying.  Either that or they're giving her the axe and this is her way out of the show.   ;)

WOO HOO!!! This just in!  I get to watch the show uninterupted (well, except the dog and toddler) because the chatterbox (7 yr old) will be at a friends house!  YES!!!

I want a separate area for doggie that just want to chase tennis balls and not be harrassed by other dogs that want to play.  Holly is much more social after she's run a few (hundred) rounds of fetch without someone always charging her or trying to steal her ball.

I would like to see grey stay with the vet because he's a much better man and he would treat her right but I'm sure she'll go back to McStupid.  He doesn't deserve her OR his wife the way he acts.  He treats women like crap though not as badly as the gyno in training.   ;)  I think the vet probably won't last long which  really bites but she's nuts over the other guy so she'll screw over the vet too as soon as McStupid looks her way again.

Shoot, someone on here ought to want a 5 month old newfie! C'mon peeps! Just get another dog! It won't hurt, I promise! Take it from me- you can never have too many!!!! :D :D :D

It would when hubby killed me.   :P  If I could get away with it I would take him.   ;)
