Hi all,Thank you all so much for your warm welcomes and your prayers for our vet visit today.
The vet says he has what looks like several lipoma's and possibly a sebaceous cyst. Which in english means three fatty tumors.
Not an emergency, but we will have them removed as soon as we can get the money saved, which will be soon.On a fixed imcome it was a cost I wasn't expecting. But he is more than worth it.
I know there is a profile for Magic on this site and I will fill it in and add more pictures as soon as I figure out how to navigate the site a little better.
Magic is a Therapy dog and has been for 6 years,he really loves his work,we visit a major medical center every other week and holidays and always start with the kids.Once a month we visit a teen boys correctional facality, and we are charter members in our local animal control center for their educational teams that give dog saftey and pet responsibility presentions to schools primarialy, to any community group that requests one.
Magic is not our only fur kid though, he has a little sister named Emma, she is Daddy's little girl, and she is 1/2 Rotti and 1/2 Peke, and yes I'm sure, she looks to most like a mini rotti.then we have a kitty named What, she is 15 yrs old and her Mom of almost 18 yrs just left for the rainbow bridge a few days ago. Then we have the newest member of the pack Falkor, he is 41/2 months old and a White Collie with a Tri-colored head. You can cee picture s of them all at Dogester
www.dogster.co m/?173167.
We all live together in harmony with Mom and Dad and David their grown up son,who is different,(developmentall
y delayed)
I look forward to meeting all our new friends here on Big Paws
