Bella, I wish i could give this product out for free, or give a free sample..... the adds for the furminator looked fake..but holy cow....i can make a new dog with jaz's fur.  You should try it...and it is guarenteed too... i feel like a spokesperson.. but i am not i assure you. But this is awsome.  I bet that bella would greatly benefit from it....or what you can do...is use it and if you want then return it to the place you got it. They don't mind.

Great Dane Discussions / Re: Can you trust your danes off leash??
« on: August 11, 2006, 03:31:23 am »
Jazmine is deaf, and she is wonderful with me off-leash... my little velcro dog. But when my hubby plays with her... she has a tendoncy to go "explore" and get away from him... They don't have a great bond. But Jaz would do anything to be with me all the time...so she is great off lead.  Being deaf though, limits the places she can go off lead...but she has a 100ft leash that she drags (i live in a condo and they require a leash) but in fields in the woods...she is great.

Boo, please feel free to email me and we can meet up some time. I know that on August 18-28 I am on Vacation. Maybe one of those days we can meet? I don't have a fenced in yard or anything, but i know jaz doesn't leave my side...(gotta love velcro dogs) I can't wait!!!

It is funny with deaf pups... people will come up and talk to her because i talk to her....and then you tell them she is deaf and they feel so silly talking to her!! She can't wait to meet someone her size she can play with and one who can understand her!!! I can't wait. Name a day and i can plan on meeting you. I told Jaz all about boo!!!! As i was telling her she was wooo wooo ing me. :)

that would be great to get together!!!!! Her best play bud just moved to FL.  I think the vet thought brain damage because one of her pupils is set lower in the iris then the other...so when you look at her, you don't really know if she is looking at you..lol. BUt it sounds worse than it actually is.  She also has tiny eyeballs...mic rooptica (Spelling)

The vet said she is... although i don't really think so.... she is night blind though.  When shaking the finger.... Jaz when in the mood will talk back to me and laugh at me.... her top lip goes up and she bounces around the room like a rabbit...then looks at me and whoooo wooooo's at me...

shaking index finger side to side or if something big then four fingers together and thumb...like a mouth with your fingers and open and close over her nose. Shaking the finger is a little too harsh for her... she puts her ears flat on her head and gives that OH PLEASE DONT BE MAD look  the book is called living with a deaf dog .... best book...it shows 60 different handsignals, with all types of behaviors linked to them.

No joke, i am amazed at how it took all the undercoat away, even though they are single layered... I used the same brush....zoom groom.... but i was doing it everyday and nothing seemed to stop the shedding...but now .... ahhh... i can wear black again..and guess what.. it is really black not white afterall..lol.

My little big girl jaz sheds a ton, but since we purchased the furminatorl... holy cow this this is awsome!! All breeds (except the hair breeds) should try this thing. Awsome awsome... i thought it was a gimick but it really isnt....althou gh be careful, i gave jaz a brush burn, so go slow and soft. It takes all the little hairs out

http://www.seapet.com/    if you google oils, i think that is all you are going to need, just because there is a hormonal change...or perhaps it is her food?? If it is high quality like solid gold, flint river, ext... there shouldn't be a problem, also she could be getting her adult coat in.

http://www.onlynaturalpet.com/products/Grizzly-Salmon-Oil-for-Dogs/117001.aspx     that is for the salmon oil... per one little pump gives out 1800 mg of EFA... the recommend 4-8 pumps (depending on size) so perhaps you need to up the amount you are giving them.

try giving more than 2000... i know animals do occationally need more oils than we do. Try giving the liquid form, I looked into the capsules for Jazmine and it said that for the oils to give 6 caps, 2x a day for flaxseed oil.  I can find the website that goes with all the oils if you would like.
