Anything Non-Dog Related / Re: Camcorder question?
« on: December 19, 2006, 09:18:54 pm »
Thanks for the feedback everyone. I am looking for more than just to shoot short 5-10 minute videos and the mini dvd player sounds neat but may be out of my price range. I will continue to research. I agree with the optical vs digital- digital is what my old one has and it is pretty much useless. Thanks again everyone. :)

Anything Non-Dog Related / Camcorder question?
« on: December 19, 2006, 04:15:01 am »
Hi,
I'm starting to look for a new comcorder. I have one now but it is several years old and not good quality. I know there are tons of different models out there so I was wondering if anyone can help. I basically am looking for a camcorder where I can easily upload videos to interent and the camcorder itself to be small (most are nowadays)- easy to transport- easy to view video's on t.v. too. I dont need anything fancy- not even sure of a price range- maybe $400 or less?? Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

They usually are well behaved in house but I would be too afraid of not hearing suspicious noises (i have anxiety issues :-[) plus my hubby is a volunteer fireman so he needs to hear his pager go off at all hours of the day/night (which doesnt help my anxiety at all- when I think about him running into a house on fire :o but I still am SO proud he does this and wants to do it full time) So while closing my door would be good- I dont see it happening.

Saint Bernard General Discussions / Advice on Dogs in bed...
« on: December 11, 2006, 10:37:07 pm »
Hello all,
I have a mix and a Saint. The mix came first and sleeps in bed w/ us- he is about 50 lbs. My Saint will start off on on the floor on her dog bed but in the middle of the night she jumps on our bed- if we tell her to get down (which usually involves getting out of bed and sliding her off) she will lay on floor again for 1/2 hour or so and jump back on bed. After repeating this 5x's we just give in and let her sleep there so we can get sleep. Any advice on what to do?? My husband and I, a 50lb dog and 110lb dogs is not too comfortable in a queen size bed :-\ Should I not let Willy- the mix sleep in our bed anymore?? Any ideas?? Squirt bottle does not work,  yelling does not work, blocking the end of the bed with something high does not work... I'm out of ideas. Any suggestions?
Desperate for sleep,
Leslie

I started to wrap my SS BPO gift and Gracie was a bit confused on what the heck I was doing ??? She just layed her head on my leg like this until I was done watching my every move. She wanted to help I think. I thought it was cute so I had hubby snap a picture. :) Have a good day everyone.

How cute! The lips get droopier and droopier  ;D Is that the same blanket in the last two pictures? So adorable... :) My mom has the same kind of dane as you do (I forget the name). I'll have to post a picture of him - Ozzy. It's so neat to see them grow up. It happens so fast too  :'(

Hey Cassandra and anyone else TTC (trying to conceive)If you ever want to email me personally to talk- feel free. I have been on the emotional roller coaster for a while  :-[ and am doing fertility treatments now. It helps to talk to someone who is going through it. So far our diagnosis has been "unexplained" and hubby and I have had our fair share of tests. so if you or anyone else feels comfortable taking about it let me know. (i've lost all modesty during this process so I can talk about anything to women I dont know who are TTC like me) It has helped me a great deal so I just wanted to throw it out there.  :) :) :)
