* Pekingnese X Lhasa Apso = Peekasso, an abstract dog
* Irish Water Spaniel X English Springer Spaniel = Irish Springer, a dog fresh and clean as a whistle
* Labrador Retriever X Curly Coated Retriever = Lab Coat Retriever, the choice of research scientists

Too Funny! Saturday I went with my boos to the dump and we put more stuff back into the truck than we came with.

Have you ever tried to dremal (sp?) them? I know its sounds strange but I groom several dogs who will try and kill me if they see the nail trimmers but I can grind them as long as I need to.

Newfoundland Discussions / Weigh ins
« on: October 25, 2005, 08:41:22 am »
Ok so when I saw the post in the St. board about weigh it got me really thinking about what Titan weighs. He is 10 1/2 months old and only about 90 pounds. He seems healthy. Not skinny defiantly not fat. I have though he seemed small but I figured it was me. According to  the chart for saint at his age one would be 120-123. I don't know of a newfie weight chart. I know I don't want him to get to big to fast but should I be feeding him more or what. He gets almost 10 cups of Purina One Large breed puppy which is what the breeder said to feed.
What did your pups weigh in at this point in there lives? No he isn't going to be a show dog but I want to do carting work and resume water work with him so size does kinda matter. Please let me know what you think. Thanks a bunch
Brandi and Titan

Meet & Greet BPOers / Re: We should have a east Coast BPO get together

Titan and I would love to find some play mates of his size and temperament. We live in Wareham Ma right near Cape Cod.
We may be able to join the big one if I can get the Saturday off.
I will keep checking in on this one.

I wish I could! Maybe after my cats have crossed the bridge but not before. Titan is forced to be the only big paw in the house. :-[

Ok this is not my fault! I had gotten over my petfinder addiction when I found this board and after seeing many post I have fallen back in to the trap! I had to post this little guy as he is to far from me.

Newfoundland Pictures / Re: New head shot of Titan

Thank you all for your kind words. I am glad all the time and effort I put in to keeping his coat kept up is noticed by someone. My husband just complains when he sees the tumble weeds of fur crossing the yard, like its going to make a mess of the woods ha ha.  I wish he had a clue.
