Lucian met up with Matilda, a 2 yo English Bulldog client of mine. Much wrestling followed.

A few days later he decided that he wanted to worm his way under the couch while carrying one of the cats bowls around. After a little nap time under there, he realized he was stuck. Much whining and crying followed. We eventually had to escort him away from the big bad futon.

Lastly, something feels different..may be it's the windblown look?

Lucian is good with kids,adults,cats,dogs and...... Imperial Stormtroopers? (Has mild issues with princesses who wear sticky buns on their ears.)

(We wanted one with Darth, but he aparently had some issues with the heat and had to go inside!)

Lucian is such a vocal guy. He got out of the tub about 5 minutes ago and is voicing his complaints in the form of little whines, moans and grunts. Today is his first group puppy class, so he had to be clean smelling!

Rare Breed Mastiff Pictures / Lucian meets Martin (who needs a home!)

Lucian had a outing today. We stopped by to see a vet friend so he could get his Bordatella vaccine that just came in, and then headed off to visit another friend at the pet boutique she owns. Martin is a 3 yo Bullmastiff who just came into her non-profit rescue she runs. She lets the dogs hang out in the 2 stores so customers can see them and hopefully adopt them. Anyways, Martin is up for adoption. (So if any of you are seriously interested in him, let me know and I can give you more information).

Lucian also is showing off his new sweater. It has a hood with ears, but he doesn't like that part very much....

Lucian went to the vet today for his next set of boosters. He fell asleep on the table for a few minutes until he got his vaccine. Boy, did that wake him up. Anyways, the monster baby is up to 22 lbs. His vet said he looks amazing and can't wait to see him back at 12 weeks! Photos coming soon...

Hello! Lucian went out for a night on the town! We took him to our favorite local dive bar where he was surrounded by DVM and other vet tech friends of mine. He was adored by all (especially our waitress who used to lay on the floor with Eli and feed him treats). This was the first time we'd been back since we lost Eli - when the waitress heard from a friend of mine what had happened with him, she broke down in tears. I just couldn't return on a sad note, so we chose this Friday to make our debut.

Now if someone could PLEASE make him a shirt that says "I am NOT a Shar Pei", I'd be forever grateful!

Lucian is *really* into his meals. He bounds into his crate and sticks his head out until I arrive with his bowl. Tonight's meal: Chicken Back and The Honest Kitchen - Force.

Well the little guy is settling in quite well. He slept from 1am until 9am this morning! I was amazed (and incredibly thankful after knowing too well what 4am looked like these past few days!). He's loving his RMB's and other foods and is a quick study! He already is sitting consistently when asked as well as catching on to "down" and "easy".

Reef deserves a medal for all she's putting up with (ear chewing, paw nibbling, etc)

We just arrived home with Lucian! He was greeted by Reef who was very interested in him and was gentle as usual. She's currently hanging out on the bed while he's tuckered out on a bed on the floor. He slept last night from midnight until 6:15 am! Or should I say, he let ME sleep!
Here are a few photos from our trip to RI/CT. More to come when I have a moment to do anything else except follow the boy around...
