my dog loves any hamburger-of course she is a labrador, need i say more? before my sharpei died she used to go with all of the time to do all of our running around chores and always sat in the front seat w/me-the burger king by my house would actually give her free burgers for her and her sister! and the bank drive thru always gave her a milk bone dog biscuit which she ate too-of course at home she was too good for reg. milk bone biscuits but not when the girls at the bank gaver her them!

i don't have a giant breed dog but have my 92 pound lab girl-we lost 2 months ago our 12 yr. old sharpei girl and now are looking at other breeds to add to the household mix. i am probably biased but i think labs fit in almost anywhere-they are generally very friendly with both people and other animals and get along very well with everyone. they are pretty terrible as pups until about age 2 but what breed isn't? they love life and are so happy-i think you could put a lab in your home and everyone would be very happy!

thank you for that info as my bottle is running low-

i agree with the natures miracle-it does work. i do put some in my rug cleaner when i do the carpets but it works wonders on pee stains or when they throw up. best thing i ever found and i now keep it on hand in the gallon jug

we live in the midwest and it has been very nice here-70's no rain lately so everything is pretty dry here. when it gets above 75 my lab thinks it is a heat wave and need a fan blowing on her or she looks like she will die. glad we have a/c for the summers or she would never make it. a nice cool wet cloth on their heads or faces seems to help. we also have a basement so it is cooler there and i keep my blinds and drapes shut when it does get hot here in the burbs of chicago.

if i get one it may be hard to go from a chevy trailblazer with double the power to that! but, it would make me happy to pass up the gas stations since it gets almost double the mileage! i like they are higher up than a car is-thanks for the info. so far the best price i can get online is $15,225 for the base matrix with auto.

i like the matrix the vibe is running about $600 less than it and it is almost a clone of the matrix. which one did you get-the base or xr? auto or stick? i like the mileage and the space it has-lots of room for the dogs and people. the prices seem good also-is it peppy enough for you?

hi, i'm also car shopping right now-i was wondering what kind of mileage the dakota is getting? i like it and i think 2 dogs would fit in the back seat-i also was glad to hear about the dog ramp because my 92 pound 10 year old lab needs help getting into the trailblazer that i currently am driving.i love the trailblazer but am looking for something a little more dog friendly. a friend of mine has the element and it looks perfect fro a doggie mobile but is so odd looking i don't know if i could drive around in it. i think it gets good mileage too-i am checking out the toyota matrix and its twin the pontiac vibe-the vibe has big rebates now and the matrix has i think a $500 rebate. i know they are both great on gas-will fit a couple of dogs and people too. i have stopped people in parking lots that have them and so far everyone loves theirs.

i just want to say that i think akitas are beautiful dogs. i would love to have one but am just too afraid that they will be overly aggressive and i won't be able to have another dog in my home with one. that being said, if i ever moved somewhere i wanted a protective dog i would consider one for myself.

yep, my labs feet have always smelled like fritos and i just love the smell of them! my 1st sharpei's feet did too but not my second one  :( i have heard they smell like that because that is how a dog sweats, thru their feet.

glad i have girls-the lipstick thing is gross. but, my lab brandy will hump almost anything-she is 10 years old and humps pillows. i can not have a pillow on the beds or she does it-she takes the cushions off the couch to hump them!  she used to try and hump my sharpei before she crossed the bridge but the psi would have none of that! i have tried correcting this beahvior with no luck-she just wants dominance over all pillows in the house!
