I don't think you can have both either unless you absolutely make sure he can't get to them. My pack would probably eat the rabbit in a heart beat too. But I have never tested that theory. I have always stripped their meals of fur and feet.
Sorry you had to learn about his habits in such an aweful way.

We have a couple of Ridgebacks at my club. These are huge dogs. Bigger than a Doberman.
She doesn't look at all like them. But could still be another type of hunting dog mix.

She is a cutie and that is all that matters right? :)

Our vet has one set fee for spays and neuters. When I had my last dog neutered I had 2 baby teeth pulled. It was $10 to pull a tooth while he was already under.

After 25 years you would think it would have gotten easier. lol
I am not a fan of murphy either.
Have you followed any sort of theme for names? Do you lean towards one kind of a name over another?
There are a lot of great names here. Many I would never have thought of.

I like Nero, means black in Italian. I like Blackberry too and  also Kenji. Those names come to mind anyways. :) Good luck and don't forget to show him off some more!

We feed the pups 800-950g a day. 800 for my female and 950g for my males. They are fed twice a day and gets snacks the rest of the time. Snacks are training treats, recreational bones and maybe a pig ear.
I was told to feed them 1.75% to 3% depending on activity level when adults. And to feed them 2% of their anticipated adult weight as a puppy.

Have you recently dewormed your berner? Or ruled out worms in any way?
What are your exact ratios? And what are your extras?
Are your weighing her weekly or every two weeks to assess her growth?
