Good Boy Faust!  And so handsome too.  He must have been an absolute angel to make your Aunt so comfortable.  You deserve a pat on the back for being such a good mom. :)

I've never heard about putting something in the water, sorry.  We had Cheyenne vaccinated against ticks and it's done wonders.  Before I always found at least one when we left the dog park, but since then nothing.  That may be an avenue to look into, albeit an expensive one.  It also vaccinates against the ticks that carry lime disease.  Hope that helps.

Great shots Lin!  Oh, to be a dog.  There is definately a change in the air today.  Walking Cheyenne this morning the air was fresh and cool an Anything is Possible kinda day.  I can't wait for Fall, but I'm sorry to see Summer leave.  Where does the time go?

I'm sorry I missed this when you first posted.  My friend is having the same exact problem only her kitty is much younger, about a year old I think.  I'm forwarding all the great advice everyone posted to her.  I've been lucky that Calisto is such a good kitty over her litter box, but we did have a problem with one of my other cats.  He was a rescue from a multi-cat home and we had to rehome him because he was having seperation anxiety.  Our vet told us to get another cat (loved that idea), but our landlord told us to find a new place to live (didn't like that so much).  He's much happier now, still get updates from time to time.  To get rid of the smell, try sprinkling the area with baking soda pet odor and let it sit for about 15mins.  Then vaccuum it up, that should take care of it.
Anywho... I know exactly how you feel about your job.  It will all work out.  I did the same thing in Feb.  I'm 29 with two little ones and can't afford to just quit, but my job was making my family miserable too.  Things happen for a reason, now I work from home and make better money.  Hang in there, we're pulling for you! :)

I'm so glad Mabel is feeling better, a lot better! :D  Taking her to work with you must have done wonders for her spirit.  Your vet seems like a great guy, let us know how it goes next week.

I've stopped watching the news.  I can't stand the sight of that monster!  Everytime I start talking about him to my hubby I get so upset and angry I start crying.  All I can say is whatever he gets, it's not enough!!! >:(

I am so so sorry  :'(  To have been loved so much by such a wonderful family, Hoover must have been an incredible dog.  My heart breaks for you and my tears won't stop falling.  Big Hug from our family to yours {{{{HUG}}}}.  I'm glad you were able to find peace in giving him comfort.  Sometimes the hardest gift we can give is the final rest.  You were there with him giving him love til the very end, that's something a lot of dogs don't get to experience.  Run free Hoover over the green fields, your family will meet you at the Rainbow Bridge.

yes.  definately time for some "downers."  he's like thing one and thing two from dr suess (sp?) all wrapped into one package.  it's very entertaining to watch.  from the window, at least.  when you're inside it can be quite painful.
p.s.-  i'll try to find my camera tonight, i think i know where it is, it's just getting the energy to do it right now lol (and hoping it has batteries that are charged)

LMAO  Sounds like "It" is putting you through your paces.  Maybe he's a Whippet?  You'll definately have to post some pics so the guessing game can begin.

It's the ears, I love puppy ears, and the big puppy grin!  #4 was my fave, he's so cute you could just eat him up.  He's absolutely adorable.
