Modified to add: I agree with Kat. I would love to have a tail-ed Rotti. They are so cute either way, but now that I've seen that cute little curl that Zeus has....
LOL my daughter has a mind of her own she likes him only from a distance lol Or if he is sleppin by her lol She hates getting the kisses that he is allways trying to give her lol.
I think we are going to keep the tail I almost feel he will look funny now sence we are so use to him with it

GoldenPyrs , To funny.. Cats are characters. Boss put the run on zeus tonight again when we were outside playing fetch. The cat will also go and sit next to Zeus toys when i throw them for him so he cant get them lol

I get a kick out of his tail when heis playing or sniffing out a place to poo its always up in that curl lol its to cute. Boss has took acouple swipes at zeus and he has also put the run on zeus what was interesting to see. THe cat has actually got a spank due to attacking the dog for no reason

I do have to chime in about the docking issue-
While docking during a neuter makes sense in terms of number of surgeries, docking after 7 days of age ( the usual timeframe is 2-3 days) is very strongly discouraged by all responsible veterinarians, breeders and breed-knowledgable people. At 12-14 weeks you are now talking about MAJOR surgery on the SPINAL COLUMN that is now completely formed and functional. Docking at this age or older should ONLY be undertaken if there is an emergency requirement such as a serious traumatic injury to the tail. The benefits are only cosmetic and the price in terms of the puppy's pain, potential nervous system complications are not worth it!
That is exactly why we are kinda debating it sence he isnt a baby any more and the pain.. I seriously dont mind the tail growing up all are dogs had there tails intact. I will say get smaked in the rear by are great dane I had growiing up was a great spanking lmao

LOL oh yeah he is very strong headed allready.. I did the Look him in the eyes thing though and hubby did it to and he looks away fast. I also grabbed his muzzle when he bit me but HE tried to bite me right after *arggg* HE's still little and still needs work. I have no clue what truly happened to him and the others before they got seized from there homes but I surely hope it wasnt something thats going to make him terrible.. Shledon * DH * is helping alot with him so hope fully in no time hes bullhead ness will go way. I have read that The males try hard to be the Alpha dog so i guess we will really have to put are foot down.

LOL LIn about the chap chair.. Zeus is aturd when it comes to are fold out chairs he will try to sit in them before us as soon as I get up he has to sit there lol

« on: June 11, 2007, 07:02:42 am »You can get old washcloth wet and freeze it and let him chew on it for a little while. It will help soothe his achey gums.
This is a REALLY good tip! I took Julie's advice and did this for Kwellen and it helped soooooo much with teething. It was cheap, she loved it, and it saved my house!
I use to do it with my kids lol I tried this but with a sock that had a not in it for zeus it also helped cool him off lol it worked for a bit but now the sock is missing lmao Along with his raw hide bones and among other things lol
