Introduce Yourself to the Forum / Re: New member saying hi

He's so cute! Welcome to the board! We will expect to see regular photo updats of Gotti's growth and cuteness in order for you to keep your BPO membership in good standing...(Kidding!) (But only about the membership thing. The pictures are a must...) ;D

Oh, Shawn. That is just so sucky. I'm so sorry...Try to believe that you'll easily adopt out your current houseful and that other rescues will step in and pick up your part, as much as they can. You know, as we've all said to one another before, everything happens for a reason. Maybe it's time for you to focus on yourself for a while. An ugly, long and drawn out divorce during which you get shafted will take some time to heal from. Take the time...you have a boyfriend, right? Make good use of your time - you'll be able to actually go on dates, sleep in on non-work days, catch up on all the latest stupid reality TV nonsense... Wow. It does suck though. I don't mean to minimize - it's a huge loss for you. Hugs from NorCal... :-* :'(

apple - I can't top a pup that "popped" at the vet!!

(I'm sorry - I'm teasing you in fun because of your cute and funny typo! You did mean "pooped", right? Your puppy didn't actually explode?? ;D ;))

What a cute little fluff ball! What is his name going to be? Good luck, and have fun!

BWAHAHAHAHAHAH A! That's GREAT! It's refreshing to know that today's youth is good at thinking outside the box, isn't it??

23
She's actually proud of her "abilities" and she is also talented in the area of making fart noises with her hand in her armpit. But, as for the fiance, she says that she's not going to get married so she can have lots of cats. She's going to be the weird old cat lady spinster with a cloud of methane floating ever so gently above her house... I'm so proud!

LOL! My daughter can outstink them, I'll bet! She's 9 - she'd sooo love to know I was sharing her personal info with the world!!

25
I jokingly offered to do it on your Facebook page, but I just now realized you're in California, too. Any chance you're somewhere near Santa Rosa? (NorCal) I'd take on your high liability crew any day!

I can't believe they came to your house!! Some nerve! And yes, when your situation is all smoothed out and you have time, we would all love to see Meatloaf, the hero! Seriously, imagine what could happened if you hadn't had him at the park that day?? Wait, better yet, DON'T imagine it. How frightening. It's giving me chills every time I check up on this post to see what's new...

WITNESSES - was anyone with you? Can you find people who saw it go down? Is your daughter old enough to describe what happened? Sweet Jesus what a scary freakin' thing that must have been for you all!!! Pardon me if I'm stepping over a line here, but consider a few counseling sessions for your daughter? She was attacked, and then saw her beloved, sweet family pet visciously destroy her attacker. She must be freaked out! Hopefully she doesn't fear Meatloaf and understands that he did what he did because it's his instinct to protect her, and he's not bad or mean.OMG, and poor you! I have no idea what laws might be for this situation in Australia, but I'll bet you can file a complaint for your daughter's attack and then find a lawyer easily who will fight for Meatloaf. I'm sorry for the loss of the healer, but it was really, really stupid of them to let a dog off leash that they obviously don't know well. Or worse, maybe they DID know that he wasn't good with kids... >:( It sounds like Meatloaf is a brave and loyal boy. PLEASE keep us posted on how this unfolds, and feel free to come and vent any time... Hugs to you from the USA... :-*

Shawn,
Welcome back to the land of the living! You didn't have to go and poison yourself to take a break, you know!! Although, the 30 pound loss is a silver lining... That is the most bizzare looking dog I've ever seen! So strange! I'm sorry to say it, but that poor pup has a look that only it's true, fated owner would fall in love with!  ;) Good luck with EVERYTHING (and with all you do, it has to be in all capitals!). Glad you're feeling better. I'll bet your crew missed you!

Boxer Discussions & Pictures / Re: Isnt this so silly!!

She's so cute. She looks BIG for a boxer. Is she big, or is it just how the "camera adds 10 pounds"?  ;D
