Did she respond? That was good. Probably fell on deaf ears (blind eyes?) but how could you not respond? "We have no money and two babies and we don't care what kind of dog it is - just make sure it's a puppy that will pee and poo everywhere and chew up the kid's toys and eat the wall when we lock it in the bathroom because it needs too much attention". Duh.

It sounds like really great news, but, uh, it also sounds like the boss is a tool, if you'll pardon the term. That sounds like very, very poor management for him to have made those comments to you. What was it, some kind of "test" that you passed by not quitting? Ah well, you like your job and you wanted the promotion, so I say ROCK that vest and do your thang, girl!

EEEEEEeeeeeeww wwww! That is so creepy! I don't know what I'd do. Probably move, but how realistic is that actually? If you ignore the "penpal" letters it will probably stop. Maybe you could call the stupid news channel and complain, and ask what they do to protect people that they expose, especially attractive women. Luckily, your puppers was on,too. So rush out and buy a "beware of dog" sign for your door, then raise h*ll at the T.V. station, for whatever that's worth. At the very least, they may have a female anchor that could talk to you and put your mind at ease, cuz a female anchor probably has all kinds of "fan" mail like that all the time. How scary for you, though!

ROFL!! Ok, my apologies in advance because I am so inappropriate here. Let me say first that I feel for ya - sounds like your pup really had you on the run, and I laughed out loud at the "turds flying" comment. And, I am glad that you found some nice off duty cops to help you out of the mud...BUT, the first thing I thought of was that it's a really good thing they didn't arrest you for solicitation of prostitution when you asked, "Now, what can I do for you?" BWAHAHA! OMG. I'm mental. Sorry! I just picture you winking (covered in dog hair and mud) and asking them that!
