Yes we have been slowly telling people the news and the reactions are great... my aunt got really excited and then stopped and got really sad looking and I asked her what that was about and she told me she expressed both feelings in case i did or did not want to be pregnant again! LoL. My mother in law who has 8 kids barely a year apart and now is up to 15 grandkids and she is NOT happy about anymore, says we need to stop cause she cant afford x-mas presents at this rate. But in all fairness I told her long ago just not to buy my kids anything if it was such a big deal.I don't care I am psyched and we go Thursday for the ultrasound- I can't wait.

Scooby was 4 months old when we got him and I swear to god that pup would pee on the floor if you looked at him wrong. But I took him out @ every 45 min for a VERY LONG TIME and then all of a sudden he was getting better and then low and behold the accidents were once a week and then once a month and then once every few months.(and when he does have accidents it's usually my fault because I had to work late and he just could not hold it any longer)I just feel real sure that Patience is the only reason my boy EVER got through it. Hang in there I'm sure it'll get better.

I dont have the first hand experience I guess but I can tell you when my mom and dad got divorced when I was 9 years old I spent the next 10 years in a tug o war between them.My dad said and made me believe horrible things about my mom, but the truth of the matter is she was always trying to do her best and I know that now and recognize it, It makes me sad that I wasted so many years being mad at her for stuff she didn't do because of crap he filled my head with.

When I turned 18 I wrote him a 10 page letter telling him what I thought of him and his crap and how I trully wanted nothing more to do with him and that he would never get the pleasure of walking me down the aisle or being there when his first grandchild was born, and now 6 years later I am still sticking to it... the occasional phone call is what i limit him too,  all I'm saying is you hang in there - one day soon enough those kids will get so sick of their moms crap they will put an end to it.

P.S - Is your hubby taking a stand to her at all?

Okay so how is it that a dog food company is making excuses for a DOG MURDERER!! Sounds like a big crock o'crap. And as far as people not believing he did it because he is finacially sound? What the heck kinda sense does that make I mean I don't care if your my broke neighbor down the street or if your Mike Vic.. either way what you did is inexcusable and horrible and you should be punished for it!

I love that stuff that does flees ticks and skeeters...can't remeber the name right now. Maybe it's Advantage or Interceptor.I know it;s really exspensive but it works 100% my lab used to itch herself bald and bloody until I started using that stuff. Sorry I'm ditzy today  - I'll get back with the name.

Scooby LOVES having his ears q-tipped clean ( weird ) but what he loves more is getting on the bed with us facing us with that hot breath and then as we fall asleep he changes and puts his butt in our face and then... oh yes HE FARTS!

Yuck  Yuck  Yuck- and he'll lift his head up and look down to see what the reaction is, what a rotten dog.

Transporting & Traveling With Dogs / Re: ~*Small SUVs & Big Dogs*~

We have a dodge caravan(obviously not an suv but) it has stow and go seats, so the whole family can get in the seats and the back row can fold into the floor for the dogs, and needless to say without the kids and husband I could fit just about anything in that van.

My momma has a Pontiac Aztec and my dogs and 2 kids still fit fine in there too.

Thank you all for all your congratulation s, the adoption should be final in just a few weeks at most, and yeah I know it's gonna be rough but I am ready for it. I never had BIG "I wanna be a dr when i grow up"type of aspirations, however I knew I wanted to be a mommy and as soon as my first was born I was done for I wanted nothing more outta life then to be a good mom and have a "good sized" family.

And to be honest I can see myself having at least one more( but I wanna be responsible about things so I will wait and see financially how we are doing in the next 2 years before deciding on more.)

And yes- my son is still not on "speaking terms" with me at this point.LoL

Oh yeah I am thrilled to pieces, but here's the reactions from the rest of my family

Husband - " oh thank god now you'll quit bugging me" (LOL)

5yr old son - " you should send it back while you can it's gonna be meaner then sissy is, if it's another girl I'm moving in with grandma!!!"

2yr old daughter- " baby baby baby Yay Baby!!!!" ( she's too little to know as soon as the little one starts crying and waking her up she won't be so happy about it anymore.)

My dear mother - " oh god, did you mean for this to happen?"
where i reply that we had been planning on another one in fact and are very happy- she looks at me like I have lost my mind.lol.

Oh well - you can't make everybody happy and my son is starting school for the first time next week and my little independant daughter is getting so big I was bursting to have another one naturaly, but we are also in the process of adopting from someone we knew that could not care for her newborn properly and the little guy has been having health issues due to the moms lack of concern-  so we are gonna be up to our elbows in babies!!!

Wish me Luck - Im gonna need it.

Ok so I haven't been on in a few days because things have been crazy. The dane I had given the people money to get healthy again, well she unfortunately did not make it ( in my defense I had no idea she was really that bad off ) but she was comfortable and not in pain when she went in the middle of the night. They offered to give me my money back I told them it was not neccesary and to keep my phone number on hand for the next one that needed help.

I went home and was really sad and crying and stuff, and fifteen minuted later my Dr. calls and tells me I'm 3 months pregnant!! WoW !! We wanted more but I wasn't really thinking that I could be pregnant now, crazy how when life gets ya down it has a way of bringing you back up again.

So as of now my family will be growing as of late Jan or early Feb.

I think we all have the same problem here::: bigger hearts then pocket books and houses. If i had a farm( which is my next purchase I would have 20 dogs running around)LOL. Needless to say I would also be divorced because hubby would leave me so I would also have room in bed for 1 or 2 also  ;D
