Alright, Chloe has only VERY VERY VERY occationally had a string of drool. maybe 3 times since we have had her. well that all changed today. shes been like a stringy waterfall. theyre soooooooooooo long and gross! the worse part is when she starts to walk they wrap around her muzzle and another string starts again. oh its gross lol. i didnt think she was gonna be a drooler.  ::) but then again, this may just be something that shes gonna do today and not again lol.

Stacey, you did the right thing. i just want to say, you said you didnt know what it was but it wasnt an attack or mauling... but i know what it was, it was an accident. and thats all it was. seeing those pics of Tonka with Sam made me feel aweful that this had to happen. but im so glad he got to go to a good home and you get to visit him! its best for you not to have to worry about your son being safe around him, and its understandable . youre a great mother, and im sorry about what has happened, also to learn of sams vision. i didnt know about him, but i send him my blessings, also to you. oh and a little off topic, for all of you that hate the HORSE comments, theres a great shirt i have for that. its got a cartoon great dane head on it with a mad look on its face and it says "Wheres my saddle? Wheres YOUR muzzle!"

aww, well its good they were happy to see each other. i know how you feel, its tough seeing ur pup(s) depressed. some people dont understand how hard that is on a pup whos used to having another one around all the time, and then suddenly theyre gone.  :-[ a lot of people have to get another pup if they have two and one passes away, for the sake of the other dog. they just get into such a depression. i hope everything clears up soon! big hugs for Yukon

ugh i know, she just cant seem to avoid anything.lol. no i say i hope its an allery because it doesnt seem to be a food allergy. no vomit or booty blasters. i think what it is is airborne allergens. pollen and stuff. she tends to get the rash after being outside in the grass for a while, and the cough seems to come about when the seasons start changing. she had it before when it was starting to get summerish out, and now we are chaning to fall and shes getting it again. it cant be bronchitis, we already tried that one... i really dont think its kennel cough, its not the same sounding cough, she was vaccintated but that was months ago, and she has no other symptoms, just a cough. really, let me explain this cough better. when she does it, people think shes doing a "quiet bark" you know, like when a dog starts to get excited and does the little "wwwrrrooof" and his lips puff out, but he doesnt open his mouth. well thats what they think it is. but i know this isnt true, because well... A she doesnt do that, and B its to phlegmmy sounding and C she does it without being excited and well h*ll, i just KNOW its a cough lol. shes going to the vet tomorrow so hopefully we can get this all figured out. i havent heard her cough yet today, so hopefully the little stinker doesnt do what she did before... she stopped coughing the day before and when the vet tried to induce a cough she would lol. and he kind of looked at me like i was nuts lol. thanks a lot Chloe...thanks a lot...

naw its not kennel cough, its been too long for that. i made sure i could rule that one out. and yes, she has been vaccinated for it. i think it might just be allergies. shes got that funny rash on her belly, and a cough, and her eyes get eye boogers a lot. i think she might have allergies, i hope she does atleast! we will find out on wednesday for sure (hopefully for sure!) poor pup, she just cant seem to catch a break lol

a while ago Chloe got an icky phlegmmy chough and we had the vet look at her. he got he to cough and looked at her throat, he said he thought it was bronchitis. ok fine, we got some antibiotics and away we went. well those didnt work, so the other vet at the clinic that looks at her gave me a different antibiotic and some cough suppressants. after that her cough went away. a little while ago i noticed a cough here and there, but i didnt think much of it because it was just one or two. i thought maybe she had a piece of food stuck or something. well now for the past few days its back again. its so nasty sounding, like a person when theyre really congested in the chest and they cough and cough and youre thinking "oh gosh just give it a good one and cough that crud up already!". thats what shes got. so she had an appt for the 12th (her 6month b-day) to get her heartworm testing, and i called and told them to change it to see the vet to have this looked at again. i just want to know what the heck it is!

aww, thats funny that its the same breed. he was cute, his whole head fit under one of her ears, and he would put his head under and start licking the inside of her ear, she was loving it. and he would cry if someone petted her, i dont know, he would get right by your hand and start to whimper watching you pet her. the only problem they had was when they were by the fire and he was trying to get her to "get it on" he tried to eh hem, hump her face. aaaannnddd she didnt like that, so she snapped at him, but then he stopped and just cuddled. it was cute... earlier she was laying in the sun and he would walk over and put his head under her front leg and push like he was trying to roll her over lol. it was just cute, i wish i had had my camera!

eh never got to meet the pup. the woman just never called back. im sort of peeved at that, because if youre going to put it on craigslist, and you get a reply... well let me say what happened here. i emailed and the reply was that her sister is the one with the dog and her comp crashed so she was using her name to post and get replies and then she was going to foward the numbers to her sister to call. great, ok, fine. well she never called, my thoughts just are, if youre going to post on a site like that, with an adoption, and someone says youre going to call the next day and you dont... i think you owe it to that person to atleast call if you have already adopted it out. i just think its not responsable. ANYWHO, Chloe went to a cookout with her daddy and i last night. the woman there has a GSD, and two daschunds. the GSD is 14, and starting to limp a little due to old age you guys know how that is. and the two daschunds, well...hehe. the female was definately the alpha in the pack, anytime my pup made a noise, she put her right in her place barking at her and being obnoxious. it was actually cute, Chloe would just kind of stare at her like, "i can squish you". the other was a little fat boy, and he wasnt fixed. well, hes usually paired up with the girl, untill Chloe. He kicked his chick to the curb and stuck right to Chloes side allll night. we were there from 5 til about midnight, and he never left her. we cought him humping her a few times, uh hem, it was odd looking. she would just look at me like "what in the wooooorrrllldd d". and then late at night we had a campfire and we could see her walking over to it in the dark, and you saw a little black blob next to her walking with her, and it was her little man. they curled up next to the fire all night. the woman whos party it was and who owned them said "oh wow, he wont even cuddle with the dogs we have like that" he was alll over her. he had his head over her back and it was just soooo cute. i wish i had had a camera. it really was a pic that was to be cherished. sooo she had an awesome time romping around with her little pack, and getting a boyfriend. i just wish she lived closer so they could get together more often!

well iut doesnt matter now because im not getting the pup. but what i do want to say is im not "blowing" linda off. i did try it, but for my pup to lay in screaming, not even crying, SCREAMING in pain for 3 days strait..im sorry, i cant do that to her. when i took her into the vet after that, for him to look at her and say "oh my god, this dog needs serious help now!" i knew it wasnt working. im not about to put her through sheer misery for months for it to work. im sorry, its just not going to happen.

when i meant changing anything to cause any regression, i speaking of her diet. i take a lot of crud for feeding her eukanuba, but im not going to change it because anyone else doesnt feel its good enough for their dog. right now, its what works for her, so im not going to change her food to make someone else happy or because someone said i should. thats what i meant by that. shes putting on weight, up and walking, and feeling good.. so im not about to change her diet at all.
