You know what, I asked my partner at work here, he likes Oscar, and hates my idea, but I'm gonna tell you anyways cause I think it's cute.  What about Stink?  Cause he's such a cute little stinker?  :D
But I like Duke too.  It's very regal sounding.  you know he's gonna be a Duke when he's all grown up and like a gazzilion pounds.  Either way he's cute as a button!

Hehe.  Sorry, night shifts make me silly. ::)

OMG!!!!
That has to be one of the cutest puppies I've ever seen!!!!
Let me elaborate a little.  I'm at work right now, and as soon as this picture was up on my comp, all work stopped so we could just look at how freaking adorable he is!!  I love his blue eyes! So vibrant!  Makes me sad, I missed the brand new puppy stage as I picked up Naja at 10 weeks, so she was still little but not brand new  :'(.
Oh!  I just want to eat him up he's so darn cute! Lots of kisses on his cute little puppy nose!! :-* :-* :-*

Groans, Gripes, Brags & Boasts / ARAGH!! So Angry!!

OMFG
Okay I knew that Micheal Vick had a pretty big part in a dog fighting ring.  And that for one makes me MAD, but I JUST saw a picture of one of the poor babies that had the misfortune of having been a part of this sick and twisted and EVIL mans game of "sport".  I seriously want to vomit.  How any person, I don't care who you are or how much money you have can think that this is fun is beyond me.  I'm not one to harbour bad feelings toward anyone.  But Micheal Vick May you be forced to endure all of the things that you forced these poor innocent animals to endure.  May you feel as much pain and may you suffer just as much as these dogs did.  You deserve so much worse.

I'm sorry guys.  I'm not usually such an angry person.  I jsut needed to get that out, and I'm at work so I can't really have a loud outburst, so a typed one will have to do.  But I'm gonna go cry now, so talk to ya later.

HEHEHEHE!!!
I love it.  Hope the stupid jerk gets bit right on the a** for what he did to those poor dogs.
Hopefully he's the one who's going to be sleeping "in the dog house".

haha!  You are all too much!  LOL!  I used t have puppies all the time but it's been long enough that I be demoted from an EPP to a UPP.  I'll work my way back up though.

I'm glad I questioned you guys about her food.  She's been scratching a lot and it's definitely not fleas...maybe the food?  Poor baby has little scabs all over her...You can feel them when you rub into her fur.

In regards to the scabbies.  Could it be the heat?  I know that's something I'm going to have to watch out for next summer with Naja.  With her soft undercoat, if the weather is too warm it can cause skin irritation and scabbies.
Oh yeah!  BTW thanks for the food info, I'll be switching Naja on Friday.   ;D

You really are amazing.  I wish there were more people out there like you.  I hope you catch her tonight, so she can get the help that she needs, and a home that will love her.

Phoebe is 9 wks and she hated the hot weather we had a span of 90s when we got her and she would potty and want to go right back inside and she hated being in the sun.  It's been cool here and she is loving it we even went on walks which I found out is not good for her growing body so we need to cut those back to short strolls.  I filled up a kiddie pool for her and she really liked that too I put ice cubes in it and she chased them around and tried to eat them.

I was having the same issue with Naja, but since we've been getting a little cooler weather here she likes it outside now.  ;) That's a really good idea with the kiddie pool, I think I'll try that when it warms up again here. ;D

My mum's a nurse, and I asked her opinion.  She said if you are going to give a tablet, then about 12.5 mg wouldn't be too much.  The Tablets are 25 mgs each, so half a tablet.  Now this is not ment as medical advise, but merely a hopefully helpful suggestion.  ;)
Hope your boy feels better real soon.

I'm glad that she's ok, always better to be safe than sorry, so it's good that you had her checked out by the vet.   ;)

I would definitely go for a good strong latch or lock.  I've known of Pyrs that can open different kinds of gate latches, so ya just never know....   ;D  ::)

She is quite the little Hoodini (sp?).  She can manage the latch on the dog run outside.  It's a lift and flip kind, I have to stick something in there so she can't lift it.  ;D

That's very true, we wouldn't want to leave anybody out here.  What about UPP Uninitiated Puppy Parent?  Maybe EPP for the Experianced Puppy Parents?   ;D

Stephanie-
If it makes you feel any better I had a recent panic attack over my puppy's food a couple of days ago when we added wet food to her diet.  I was feeding Iams Puppy Large Breed/Smart Puppy.  We're in the process of switching to Innova.  Holly's posts have been a blessing for the uninitiated puppy moms (UPMs).  Before I was lucky enough to stumble across this forum I was scouring the internet for any information and came up with a jumbled mess.  Don't worry about your puppy, you're a great UPM if you care enough to ask!

Also glad someone else likes Miss Congeniality as much as I did, hubby totally didn't get it ::)

Ha Ha  I love the UPM, I didn't know that there was a term for us newbies on here!  ;D
Well I for one am PROUD to be a BPO UPM!
Oh yeah-Also love Miss Congenaility, the part where she's "Gliding" down the street, gets cut off by a car, and slams the hood and yells at the driver "Hey!  I'm gliding here!"  So graceful, so lady like.  ;)

Okay.
Well I'll admit now that I over reacted just a smidge.  :-[
The vet said that the amount she ate is really nothing that will cause any harm other then maybe a bit of a tummy ache.  She's fine now, her tummy was alittle upset last night, and she did have to go out several more times then usual to do her business.  Tummy is back to normal size, and she is back to her normal playful self.
Ha ha
Guess I should invest in food containers that are a little more puppy proof, maybe something with a pad lock.  ;)

That's a good idea.  It's after 8 pm here now, so I'm off to find an animal clinic that's open.  Wish me luck!
