Titan gets cat assaulted too?  Is it not the funniest?  They HAVE to wait til said dog is asleep!  LOL!  My cat is declawed front and back so she is benign.  She is tiny and yet can run him off of every one of his pillows!  Cats!

that is cute!  I can so see my big meat head with a bib!  I have a fab pic (darn I wish I could upload pics!) of odin in an aussi hat-it would pair well with a bib!
I keep hoping he slimes the cat but she only assaults him while he is asleep!  ;)

Where do you you get a bib?  I sew....could I make one from old towels ya think?  It would be SUCH a life saver and down south where I live, we don't have a lot of pet options (even pet store is 40 mi away and at the cost of gas.....u understand,?)....hehe

A bib!  I have had 5 kids and I never thought!  I have tried bandanas.....n o good.  I'm a ding dong!

Oh ratdog, I hadn't read your post til now!  That's aweful.

Punks are that....punks.  I remember when I was 38weeks pregnant with my, what's now is 5 year old.  My oldest son and I decided to walk up to sonic for a smoothie.  Mind you, I jogged throughout every pregnancy so I was fat and fit...lol.

On the way home, some teenage boys drove by and yelled at me "fat f-ing b-tch....whore".  I was horrified.  I was 9 months pregnant and I internalized every ounce of what they said.

YOU CAN'T.  You cannot worry about what someone may do or you will worry yourself silly everytime you take her peepee.  Keep yourself safe.  Do the things necessary to keep you and your family safe that doesn't harm or infringe upon anothers rights.

You, sweetie can't make a punk an unpunk.

I would report them to the police to have it on record.  If they come by again, report em.  My husband and I are concealed weapons carriers so stupidity by words on anothers part is stupidity and ignorance.  They get out of their car and threaten our lives, that's different.  A single woman needs to do what's legal but what's reasonable to keep herself safe.  Alarms are great.
Varying routines and times of activity are good.  Taking cody to different places will help her.

I live in the country and odin doesn't have a fence so I open the front door and he goes out pees, poos and returns!  Only fishing guides or lost old people come down my street.

The locals see me out front on the punching bag so they know I will take out a testicle, an eyeball, and the trachea if they try to come at me.....then the 226 will greet them at the door.  :)    I'm so so sorry you had to be traumatized by stupidity.  Karma willget them.....it always does!  And we don't have to do or say a thing.

ewwwwwww jaz!  dats nasty!  :)    Have ya ever busted arse because ya slipped one of the piles of slime that accumulate around the drinking dish post drink?  My poor baby gets the "awwweee, oooodiiiinnnnn n!".  He just goes and lays down and watches me.  He can't help it..lol.

Yesterday was monthly wall wiping day for me-slingers always end up in the craziest of places! :)

funny when the unknowing humans end up on the floor!  lol.  odin actually responds to the word TAIL!  He immediately sits and stops wagging.  I only use it when it gets out of control!  Like every morning at 5 when my husband and I talk!  lol.

Odie talks when he has to potty too.  He is like.........e rrrrrrrrrwurrr rrrrerrrrrwuuu urrrrrrrrr and tilts his head from side to side.  I'm like, ok gotta go peeeeeeeeee?  His tail goes berzerk and then we make him sit......wait. ........wait (door opens) wait.....ok.  and off he trots!  pees on the hosta, the bird tree, the jute, the deer pee, the neighbor's dogs pee then into the field to poo!  why he won't poo in our yard, I do not know but I do not argue either.

Odin doesn't much like the ole bissell either but I am a mean mom and have made him lay/stay while i'm vaccuuming and over time, he has gotten to where he is able to tolerate being near the vaccuum without total freaking out.  However, I cannot expect him to let me get within 3 ft with it on.  This took 3 years to accomplish!  :)  Food for thoght.  At 9 months he would freak out and just about climb the walls and furniture to get as far away from the evil dog sucker!

that's a dream question for me.....but my 14 yo and I have really been hashing out a plan to begin a giant breed foster home since we are rural and so many people here view them as aliens.

A dream remodeling project:

All taracotta tile floors with drains and applicable plumbing.

GIANT lAUNDRY ROOM  with an open shower and hand held hose for rinsing (this would be the room closest to a 7 ft iron fenced open 1acre lot).

Haz chems would be in a haz chem locked cabinet in giant laundry room.

All walls would be stone or tile and in multi earth and drool colors (gotta hide those SLINGERS).

aLL windows wuld have automatic sun shutters.

Giant Doggie door.  Built in food canister to hold the massive quantites of doggie food.  a ginormous dog walk in closet stocked with dog stuff.

Mastiff level cabinet so odin can stand erect while eating and drinking.

A small bedroom off the master with no doors that is totally dog friendly!

I wanna win the lottery!

I have to say, I love  the pics and I'm a picture junkie too but I can't post online because of my javascript capabilities so my submit or post buttons dontbwork.  Too bad we can't email pics cuz I got pics from odin from day one!
