I wish I had that sleep problem. my pups want me up at 6:30 and they just climb on me and lick till I get up. with 2 40lb pups wrestling on me it doesn't take long.

but when they are outside and dont want to come in they just totally ignore me. yup - they are pyrs!

they are entertaining alright. they steal everything right now and drive the newf crazy. the sheltie hides in the basement. (smart)
and yes hubby says they look like meerkats too.
they spend most of their time out in the yard actually. but there is so much snow right now they stay clean.

that cat is a 25 lb maine coon and they know better than to bug him. just kidding. that cat loves all my dogs and the pyrs seem to be fine with all 3 cats.

hubby always seems to take nicer pics than me. of course he uses the expensive camera which I wont touch in case I break it. too many buttons for me!!

I have 2 sisters (pyrs) that are totally opposite from each other. one is more playful, outgoing and likes to talk. the other is more laid back, quiet and will not go to strangers. we are trying to socialize them more ( I hate winter ) cause they both shy from people. neither would take off right now cause they are scared of anything new and different.
but they both pretty well stay in whatever room I am in and one now sleeps on the bed. (figured out how to jump up yesterday) both bark at strange noises inside or outside but that is ok. they dont keep barking - just a couple barks and then come to get me. funny thing is one loves my newf and the other loves the sheltie.
but I love this breed. beautiful dogs.
