Ok, newf owners, where has been the most unlikely places you have found fur? I had a couple under the butter dish lid, the coffee filter, oh, and picking the balls of fur off the socks from the dryer.  :D

'Cept when you wanna get up, and they don't wanna move!
Spoken like a true Newfie owner! I've been pinned by my three monsters, they won't move! Do what you want, say what you want, they move on Newfie time. The male newf is hilarious in the morning. He walks around dazed crossed eyed for about 15 minutes till he wakes up, truly not a morning dog. Pretty funny. We've owned dogs for a long time, and these Newfs are characters. They just don't care about anything, zero stress. Every morning we have to grab them by their legs, and like a sack of potatoes drag them away from the bathroom closet so we can get into it. Think anyone of them would move on their own? Nope

Walked upstairs and caught the gang having a snooze, and quietly took this priceless picture. Newfs....

Our first newf was purchased from a unscrupulous breeder. She falsified the vets records and gave us a newf that had an incurable enlarged heart. This is going to sound funny, but we were so blessed to have had him. We spared no exspense to give him the best quality of life for 6 months. We were honored to give him that, otherwise he would have been Euthanized way to early. We would do it again in a heart beat. We would sell all earthly belongings for our dogs, thats just who we are. We now have 3 newfs, 2 are 9 months old, and a 9 year old who has led a very healthy life so far! Just some food for thought. Good luck and hang in there.

Huh, we had two newfs that tore thier cruitate ligaments. One we knew imediately, she was simply walking and slipped on a piece of ice and lifed her leg right away, had to be corrected with surgery. The other one also tore the cruitate ligament, but he would walk fine for about 10-15 minutes, then became lame, surgery agan! Now, we have an older newf that has always had a on and off limp since he was a pup, the vets cannot find anything. If she needs surgery, you MUST follow the rehabilitaion instructions to the letter, if you do, they make a full recovery. Just our experiences, good luck

Wow, hello Maggie, its Evee.Do you have any rug, and favorite shoes? Oh, you have to try base boards! I don't know what they have in 'em but they are lip smacking good!Is the blue box around, I really like bringing the blue box stuff back in and shredding the papper and cadboard all over the house. Ya know, come to think of it, baseboards are my speciality. Woo Hoo, gonna be alone tonight while mom and dad go for Valentine supper, don't know why they replaced the base boards yesterday, but if ya'll come over here tonigh we'll customize them again. Till then, keep busy.  ;D Evee

I have owned, correction, dogs have owned us for over 35 years. Up until these two pups we always got one when one passed. Now, I am convinced that two at a time is way more fun! It’s wonderful to see them play together, sleep together and do the same with us. I'm not kidding when I say the poop and pee together, it's quite comical. They also put spunk back into my 9.5 yr old newf. After we lost out Lab 2 yrs ago, old Ben was never the same until we brought home these two fuzz balls. If you have patience, you won't regret it. If you have any question or want to phone us, just let me know. They follow us like, well puppies, we call it the "Puppy Posse". Cheers RT

oh yes, they certainly did bond with us, no problem there. Training was soooo much fun. Shake a paw meant 3 paws coming at you. "Speak" is a chorus. What really impressed me is that it took only about a week for them to recognise thier own name. They play together, they play with us. They poop and pee together. Training was a cinch. One follows the other. Would I do it again? Without hesitation. I would like to have more as a matter of fact. Who knows........

When we went to go our little girl this summer, they had one male left from another litter, well, he came home with us. The best thing we could of done! They are inseperable, they have bonded with us and are so much fun! The WWF sessions are epic! Training one is as easy as two, so what the heck.

Yah, we see that all the time, with a piece of rug in her mouth! I made the mistake of leaving the garage door open to the house and she very kindly brought all the blue contents back in throughout the living room. It looked like an explosion. We laughed, what else can you do? Why does it not fit back in after they shred it?

Thought I would post our 8 month old Devil in disguise. She drives the two male Newfs nuts. What a character. If it was chewed, knocked over, spilled, spit on, sat on, layed on, stepped on, or torn to shreds, it was her! She makes the house so alive!
