Labrador Retriever Discussions / Re: Lanie

Sorry to hear about Lanie's siezure.  I'm glad that u have figured it out tho.  My first dog started having siezures when he was 5.  He is a frisbee dog and would play to no end.  The vet told us that most likely he was dehydrated. Now we make him take water breaks when he plays and we try not to run him too much. He does just wonderful now and best of all no meds.

Thank you soooo much for this topic starter.  I'm new to posting and this is also my first message board thingy.  I'm really enjoying reading everything and your message was very helpful to me as a beginner.  I just wanna talk about my puppies and hear about other's puppies. Pics are my fave!  But anyway... thanks for all the info your post stirred up!!!

Wow...what a beautiful coat and head.  No one would second guess you on his breed if you said lab.  It will be exciting to see how big he gets with those paws.  Congrats on your addition!!!!

I know this is an old post but I can't help myself I love dog quotes!!!

"No man can be condemned for owning a dog. As long as he has a dog, he has a friend." Will Rogers

"One reason a dog can be such a comfort when you're feeling blue is that he doesn't try to find out why." unknown

"Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole." Roger Caras

"In order to really enjoy a dog, one doesn't merely try to train him to be semi-human. The point of it is to open oneself to the possibility of becoming partly a dog." Edward Hoagland
