;D First of all, your son is A.D.O.R.A.B.L. E. and he's even cuter because he KNOWS he's not supposed to be in there!

I went to Big Lots and bought a Rubbermaid storage container that is big enough to hold about 40 lbs of food.  The lid snaps down to keep wee ones out, as well as the ultra nosy dog - almost too well because I have a hard time getting it off sometimes.

I've wondered if I should get something that is airtight but I just can't justify the expense.  We go through the food fast enough that I don't think we have a problem with staleness.

We keep Zoey's food in a trash can similar to the one you are using now.

If I had a dog-food-steak=ler, I would probably buy this to keep the dog food in: http://www.containerstore.com/browse/Product.jhtml?CATID=74065&PRODID=62937 It is large and has a special lid that makes the food air tight, and is harder for a little kid to open

I love your orginizational skills.  I wish my closet was so neatly made up.. Want to help me?  lol.

I keep dog food in a rectangualr rubbermaid in our basement with the bag clothespinned shut..  And 2 large ice cream containers in the kitchen with the current decent amount of kibble one might use in a few weeks with a small dog.
