Fostering Fun
« on: June 22, 2006, 06:44:20 pm »
I haven't been fostering for a while since I got a new job where I am gone 12 - 14 hours a day.  But one of the foster homes went out of town for the weekend so I have watching Caramel (1 yr old lab, shepX and Gus 1 yr old Bassett).

Maia and Rocco love them both, Maia especially loves Gus.
Thanks,

Emily and 1 husband, 1 boy, 1 on the way, and 4 crazy dogs

Wow! They look like they are having a total blast! Glad they are having so much fun, but how are you holding up with going from 2 to 4 dogs?!

I'm pretty laid back so it doesn't bother me to go from 2 to 4 especially since they all get along.  Gus and Caramel are struggling with the steps to the basement (the dog's cages are in the basement) so that is a hassle but i expected that.  As for the grass, I wait until it boggs the mower down before I cut it then it stays nice and green.  My laziness actually pays off sometimes.
