Shelby (3 yrs) & Sam4 (4 & 1/2 months) (Neighbor names all of his male hunting dogs Sam :D ) broke loose from their run today & came by to play!...They were in the run because last night Sam4 dig out from under the fence in their yard...I guess he is a handful! :D Well, this is the first time Sam4 has come to visit us but Shelby gets out & comes by fairly often because she knows I give treats & love & she gets to play with my boys...After a couple of hours with Sam4 I was lauging so hard & thinking about how much fun it would be to have a naughty & unruley puppy!...He was a hoot!...He climbed into our pool & ate any leaves he found in it while he paddled around...Much easier than cleaning the pool! :D Anyway, here are some pics...My Sam had a blast but I didn't get one pic that turned out of him playing with Shelby & Sam4 but the one of him running is because the puppy devil was after him...lol!...Pippin spends more time trying to make sure nobodyhas too much fun than he does playing but he does seem to like to ahve company to boss around...He gets SO tired of just having Samson to boss around...lol!

Our house seems to attract dogs & kids...See the dirt area Pippin & Sam4 are in in the 1st pic?...That is the dogs "escavating" area...lol..Th e dogs dig there & my kids get out the shovels & help...Then they (the kids...not the dogs :D) fill the holes with water from the hose & get really dirty...Then, see the dirt path behind the pool?...That's the kids go cart track that runs two lengths of our back yard...I wonder why the kids & dogs always show up here too.? :-\ :D :D
Here's my daughter after Daddy wetted down the go cart track. :D

We all know now who taught my perfect Pippin to love the mud!...LOL  In 20 years I've never had a Pyr that loved the mud like he does.  So I guess we all know who taught him that huh?

I want to tell you all something.  When you evaluate a new puppy buyer for a home, you can make an educated guess from references and email exchanges with the perspective buyers, but there is no way to know for sure if the home your pup is going to is going to be the best one possible for the pup.  Not the material home, but the folks that live in it.  Michelle and I have grown very close since Pippin went to live at her house.  She calls and sends pictures all the time.  I've seen Pippin grow up and have loved every minute of it.  Thank you Michelle for loving my Pippin and giving him a home where he feels it's ok to roll in the mud.

Love Ya,
Jackie

They all look like they had a fun time. You have a great yard. Not one to just look at, but to use and have fun in.

Wow!...That made me tear up!...Thanks Jackie!  :-*...Of coarse Pippin can roll in the mud here!...He can also dig to his heart's content & evidently steal whole packs of Ritz crackers off of the counter & eat them. :D (O.k. this isn't o.k. & he said he didn't do it but Samson was with me so I don't know...lol!) There is nothing better than letting dogs be dogs & kids be kids & contributing in any way you can to the chaos that insues!!!...h*ll, sometimes it is good to just start the chaos yourself so you can be entertained!...Our yard often looks like the circus is in town & I am sure my neighbors cringe...tee-hee!...But lets think about this, having a dog & kid friendly home & yard & the fun involved vs. the hard work of keeping a perfectly manicured lawn & show home that you really can't enjoy to it's fullest......h hhhmmmmmmm :-\...That's a no brainer to me! :D...Dirt falls off of Pyrs & what doesn't fall off the creek will wash off, floors can be swept & kids wash off amazingly well...Love & fun live here at the House of Kay! :D :D

Glad to see that Sam had some company to take his mind off things and burn off some energy!  Hope he's feeling back to his normal self soon!
