Martingale harness - anyone have one?
« on: July 30, 2006, 05:23:57 am »
I know several people here have martingale collars (or should I say your DOGS have them?), but I was wondering if anyone had a martingale harness?  I've been on the Blocky Dog website and seen their collars and they do look nice, but overall I think I'd prefer to have something that fit around the chest/shoulder area and not the neck.  I found the website below and she makes martingale harnesses (and collars), and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with her or any other place they've found martingale harnesses?

Where did you get yours?  I've only seen 'regular' harnesses in stores, not martingales.

I have 2 Easy Walk harnesses made by Gentle Leader, and I think they can be considered "martingale" harnesses- the front has that martingale thing. They are GREAT. They make it so much easier to control a dog who isn't leash trained. We used one on the new rescue guy the other day, it was seriously the only way we could control him. Once he had it on, he settled down to the point where we could even walk him inside a pet store around people. :)
