Sounds like my little Grace stinkrott.  she's always been a pain in the whoo hooo.  But lady is my teenager.  the last few weeks have been like living with a 13 year old girl.  i thought that phase started around 2 though.  it's a phase and they do grow out of it.  Reclaim your alpha dogness!!!  when the next phase hits...reclaim your alphadogness again!!!

Oh I am so familar with the 'teenage stage'. I posted and vented here a few times and recieved some great advice. Although Bubba still is a pain sometimes for the most part it has passed. But it's not a quick stage and somedays will be worse than others. I found myself repeating on numerous occasions "I will not kill him, It's just a stage" LOL

Here's the posts I made on this subject.

Ugh...speaking of teenage stage...Laika has decided that she misses eating paper. When she was a puppy, she would eat any piece of paper laying around. She destroyed a few books of mine. I was just sitting in the study reading this thread (how's that for irony?) and she came in chewing a receipt. I have no idea where she got it. As soon as I said her name, she dropped on her side, but refused to open her mouth. I finally got that piece of paper away, and she walked straight over to my desk and grabbed a piece of paper off it and started chewing! Argh! When I took that piece of paper away, she decided to go for Kingsley. Poor Kingsley. He's not feeling very well (allergies), and she's decided to make his life a living h*ll. She reminds me of the little sibling, constantly picking.

if it isn't one thing it is another. I know that they want all the attention...bu t at that point it is time to teather up somewhere.. I have a vibration/e-collar for jaz since she is deaf, and i jsut put the collar on and she shuts down completely. I have never used the shock part of the collar, although perhaps someone else has. I use it for the vibration. I came home yesterday to discover that my fav. body pillow was chewed ...drooled on...and the tags disappeared.  She was so happy to see me she knocked over 4 cans of soda that were placed on the table... with her tail, I put her in a down stay, and i hated every minute of it. She was so excited to see me and she put me in a bad mood because now i have fluff everywhere, soda spilled...tags chewed..... I hope this ends soon.
