They are all doing well.
I had a "late bloomer" who just figured out how to eat on his own completely earlier this week...He was so small and didn't play with the other kittens...I finally quit syringing him and prayed for the best while supervising him closely and YEAH...he is eating now and gaining weight...I'll keep a close eye on him but today we are finally going to try all dry kibble and I have seen himĀ crunching some but I will keep an eye to make sure he is ready for it...I've started calling him "Eddie" and he LOVES to be held and cuddled and has spent alot of the week sleeping and purring on my infected ear...He curls right up there like he knows it hurts and falls asleep...MUCH better than a heating pad.
The little white and black "soup can kitten
" is fat and sassy and likes to play "king of the hill" on an old cat scratcher I brought up for them...His main opponent is the white with tiget stripes...We call them "Cat Kong" and "Catzilla" as they are vying for the top position on the cat scratcher...My kids named them "Stripey and "Chaos Jr." because he looks like my cat Mr. Chaos.
The little black kitten with white feet and chest we call "Simba" and she is certainly lion hearted.
Here is Tigey and Chaos Jr. in their king of the hill position...I'll update this thread later today with pics of Eddie and Simba when my camera batteries are charged back up.
b.t.w., Tigey's eyes look all messed up in this pic for some reason...They don't really... The yucky stuff on their faces is just dried moist food...kittens are messy eaters...lol
