How can people do this! warning this is very upsetting.

Tim told me about this, and I have been upset and crying ever since. I pray that she is OK at the rainbow bridge and that she doesn't remember what happened to her.

This has really gotten me to my core. I just can't believe that someone could do this, and to their own pet. I hope that the they get the maximum sentence for this aweful crime. I really want to become a huge voice for animals here in Alberta and hey even the country. This has to STOP! I wish that crimes against animals would hold the same sentence as crimes on people. As Tim said, there is no difference.

Here's a way I feel everyone can help.
When you see these stories\
First find out where it happened and the address to the local prosecutors office.
Be it in Canada or the US.
Then post the story with the mailing address
and write them a letter.
NOT an email
Emails can get deleted, and no big deal,
but hundreds and thousands of letters have to be delivered
they are not easily deleted.
They take up space, they make an impression.
Write how these are totally unacceptable crimes and
should not be tolerated.
The person needs some serious jail time and psyc help.
Then forward the story (with the same request with mailing addresses) to everyone you know and post to every group you are on.
When cities and towns and providence's get hundreds and thousands of letter, how can they ignore such an outcry?

Spending less than 30 mins researching mailing addresses, writing a brief hand written letter and then the what? .43 cents (a little more if the letter is going to another country) Is not much to offer as a tribute to this poor dog.
(and others like her who are abused.)

This should be done with all violent animal and human crimes and maybe after enough letters (millions) little by little we can make a difference.

That is so true, the price of a postage stamp is nothing so help bring justice to this wonderful girl. I will write a letter, I can't stand by and do nothing. Enough is enough!
Thank you for the idea.
