Hey Stefanie-

One of the breeds I specialize in is RTBs. I breed burmese pythons, retics, anacondas, RTBs, balls, rats and beardies.

If you are still having problems or questions about him feel free to contact me privatly and I'll be happy to help. Thanks for saving the poor guy

That is cool you saved the guy.  I hope he gets more used to handling after awhile.  I agree with more handling he will start to understand a hand is not a bad thing.

I am patiently waiting until I can get my first snake.  I've worked with ball pythons, burmese pythons, california kingsnakes, corn snakes, hognoses, milksnakes, among others. Hubby does not like them, but he knew long before we were married snakes were going to be in my future.  Its just a matter of timing and space as to when I can add one to my growing family.

thanks for all the well wishes!  good news!  no more cold (YEAH!) and he's liking being held more!  when you open his cage, he climbs out onto your shoulder and will sleep on you forever!  then, when you go and open his cage again, he'll climb back in and go get in his water bowl again.  no complaints at all, he listens better than the dogs do.  also, we got him to eat a good meal, which put him in a way better mood!  tonight we had a mishap ha ha.  peanut was being silly, and jumped into my lap while i was on the comp, and hopped right onto the poor guy.  talk about a scare!  the snake took it pretty much in stride, but peanut?  not sure what scared peanut worst though, my reacting of pushing him away or the snake, since i don't think he realized what he landed on!
