i guess that's where it must be then  there's nowhere else in the yard, unless it's under the house.  everything else is, the AC unit, all our plumbing, AC ducts, etc etc etc.  (we're on a crawl space)  does yours dip in right there also?

I don't think it is but it's hard to tell because our front yard is so uneven. The way the inspector found it is by sticking a metal pole in the ground a little bit where he thought it was and you can hear it.

hubby says he talked to the neighbors a while back and they said they saw a septic tank truck in the back yard...  don't think i believe that one, we have HUGE trees randomly in our backyard that creates a big web of roots, just far enough apart to where they each have their own area and be healthy.  would be very stupid to put it there.  front yard?  three trees, very very small though, and clumped together to where there is a very large area open, which is the only open area on the property.
