Good Resource for Dog Friendly Places
« on: July 28, 2005, 03:02:36 pm »
Maybe most of you already know about this website, but just in case some people don't  . . . It's a great resource for dog friendly places.  You can search by a specific area, or by the type of place you are looking for (ie: hotels, places to eat, parks, beaches, etc.)  Check it out http://www.dogfriendly.com

Thanks for the site, I have spent some time now going through it, and guess what, where I live SUCK, big time. It will come in very handy when planning a vacation though.

Dont feel bad, Long Island NY doesn't offer anything "dog friendly". They list Montauk beaches ("the end" as its called way too far), no parks. Thanks to my friend Janet, who lives by a private beach I can go there, 10 minutes away. I have to put my guys in her car, she has a parking permit. I kinda feel funny about that but she says she doesn't mind (she doesn't have any dogs). We went last saturday & had soooo much fun.
