Unfortunate events.

Due to some very unfortunate happenings Zues is in search of a new home. I am going to have to have surgery and will be on my back for about 8mos and wont be able to care for him If anyone knows of someone that would take this little guy and give him a wonderful please let me know. he is housebroken, and well mannered with kids and other pets.

Oh Trish.  That is heartbreaking.  Have you checked with rescue groups in your area to see if they could find a foster home for him until you are back on your feet?  I know some of them here will do that.

I would suggest contacting rescue groups in your area and asking if there is anyone who could watch him for 8 mos. I did that for a woman north of Baton Rouge who had cancer and was going to go through chemo. She was looking for someone to adopt her dog, but she was so attached to him and I felt he would be really good for her eventual recovery that I offered to foster him until she was strong enough to take him back.  I hate to see someone lose their baby because of something that is, essentially, a temporary set back - and I'm sure other dog lovers would feel the same way.
