If I get the job
« on: January 28, 2008, 09:39:43 pm »
I had an interview today (ok 2 interviews) at a Fire Prevention company.   It sounds kinda cool and it's about 5 minutes from home.  if i get this one i will have to go to Massachusettes somewhere for 3-5 days for training.  i hate to board the pupper, but it would be so cool to visit there and get some pictures there after training.  :)
the other job is a job share (part time) job at a law firm.  it's a gorgeous building and is again about 5 minutes from home.  the lady in the interview told me she had 2 job share openings and before i knew what i had said out came "Can I have both of them?"
i will hear about both of these jobs next week and i'm still waiting to hear from the place where a friend of mine works and refered me to interview.

i got home and Grace was limping so bad i cried.  she had bounced pretty hard yesterday on a longer potty walk than we normally take.  but i figured she is 3 weeks into bed rest and an extra 50 feet on a little walk would be ok.  it would have if she hadn't done her cute little thing she does when she tries to grab the leash and walk me.
after a long nap and a puppy massage, she's putting more weight on her leg.  so back to square one.

It sucks when we think they can handle just a little bit more and they do, but then we feel guilty for doing it.  I am sure she will be just fine, in no time.  Congrats on the interviews.  I am sure you will get a great job, whichever one or two it turns out to be.  Good luck and here's all our paws, fingers, toes, legs, crossed for you in FL.

the lady at the law firm said she hadn't thought that the same person could do both job shares before.  she said she would think about it.

i hope grace is just taking a step back in her recovery.  i'm always scared it's bad.  she's barely putting weight on the leg but still jumps on the couch well.  this morning she's doing a little better but careful not to touch the ground too much outside.
so i took the bed frame apart last night so she doesn't have a big jump into bed with me.
i so hope it's nothing.
