We went to NY two weeks ago and took both my dogs jazmine (dane) and titan (mastiff) and drove 4.5 hours with everyone sausaged into the cab (4 door) of my dodge dakota. So in may we are going to PA and NJ which probaly will be a 7-8 hour drive...no way in HE** am i going to be a sausage for that long, nor ever again. We are going to (tommorow) purchase a cap for my truck, which will be lined, and soft foam lined bed of the truck, fan, screen/glass windows, plus a really cool thing called a twistep. Look it up, they are sooo cool, we are getting the one for a truck, but it extends out!!! And since i don't use my hitch for anything else this will be perfect. I just wish it wasn't so much money!!!!! Talk about altering your vehicle for the dogs!!
