Road Trip!!!

Just wanted to rub it in a little bit!!  Me and my 19 yr old daughter are leaving Sunday at the crack of dawn, with Marley, Lanie and Bindi in tow, to go to the beach!!  Its not my favorite beach but its only 5 hours so next week its my favorite..haha  Hopefully on Tuesday we get to meet Kathryn..yay I am so excited to get to meet someone on BPO.  We will see her at Moody Gardens Rain forest and the aquariam.  Then we are hoping she can come by the house for a frozen beverage and to meet the crew...Anyway, wish you all were going...Will take lots of pics!

Lori are you going to Chorpus Christi? Padre island? In all my years as a Navy wife we have always been on the coast, but hubs went and stuck us in no mans land this time with no beach and a lake that dries up in the summer!  I miss the beach, so needless to say I am VERY jealous of you right now.
Have a great time and cant wait to see pic's.

I wish it was Padre..but a little to far to drive with all the critters going.  No we are going to Galveston and although its not my fav, I still love it there.  If there is water, I am happy.  Apreston...I have no doubt Laney my lab will be spastic in the water, but I can already see my chicken little Marley running from the waves!  Hes not a real water freak like the rest of us but we are working on it.  Not sure at all what Bindi will do, but it should be interesting!!

I guess we're spoiled in Southern California.... one hour from  Huntington Beach, one hour from the Mountains, less than 1/2 a day from Vegas, and Mexico...
