Reminds me of my brother. He drove a truck all over for a while. He even let me drive it once but I wasn't very good at it. But he was sooooo proud of his truck just like your hubby!!!

I used to drive  a "Big Truck"!
SLC to Ohio back to SLC, to Gaffney, SC. and back.
6000 miles a week! Made a lot of money, didn't get a whole lot of sleep when my student was driving.
Still wake up 'Screamin' sometimes.
Been through snow storms in July in Wyoming, rode out a tornadoe in Nebraska, turned my headlights off at midnight in Missouri, the lightning showed me the way!
Miss looking at the Milky Way on a moonless night in the midwest, and seeing the Auroara Borialis.
Glad to be home all the time with my dog.

It's a tough life, but at the same time, liberating.
It's fun to be a road warrior and go where the wind blows.
But it's tough when your dispatcher sucks, and doesn't send you where you want to go, like home for a few hours.
When I got my dog, I knew my driving days were over.
I'm home now, with my dog at my feet.

My dad used to drive one of those things too. He was never around when I was growing up. Now he works on them and is around all the time. I swear he's trying to make up for it with my daughter.  :-\

HA! THat's funny, Chelle! Merry Steel Steed. Love it!

Once, we called an ad about a house for sale. The guy was giving us directions. He said, "Its the house next door to the house with the Kenworth in the front yard." And then he sighed, paused for a minute, and said, "Ya know, nothin' really makes a man feel at home more than a Kenworth in the front yard."

I guess people really love them Merry Steel Steeds.

hahahaha! Yeah, I think that it would do Mark and I some good sometimes if I had a Merry Steel Steed! ;) Actually, if HE did, I'd probably be more likely to convince him to get a second dog! hahaha! Or, I could just get one, and on the one or two days a week that he was home, I could just hide her under the bed! HAHAHAHAHAHA!
