This Should Have Never Happened Here at BPO
« on: September 04, 2005, 06:35:55 pm »
First of all, I thank which ever moderator deleted the thread. I was about to do it myself but didn't. Someone made the decision for me. I appreciate everyone who really did try to stay cool.. and those who didn't, I thank you for appologizing. Like Jen said, this is supposed to be a safe place - Everyone here has made a mistake before and has regreted it. Lets remember that and be supportive - we might too need it someday.

Jen, we'll miss you. Best wishes to you and Sasha.

Is there something in the air today?  ??? I don't know what Micheal is refering to, but I had an "online argument" on another fourm earlier today!  :-[

Man, where's the love today? Are we all depressed about the Katrina aftermath? :(

I, too am confused.  I have been here on and off all day, and don't remember seeing anything.  I must not be all that observant.

Well, I'm sure it was deleted with the best of intentions and probably needed to be.  Sorry to hear someone has left.

Fdil, don't think another minute on it!  You were only thinking of the baby.  Your heart was in the right place!  It's a sad, awful situation and I feel bad for everyone involved.

When there are this many people with so many different backgrounds, both geographic & personal things like that are bound to happen...This is not the 1st time I've seen within a group some disagreement & someone leaves because they can't or won't keep an open mind to my origionally stated fact in this post...My goodness, if I aimed to make everyone happy I'd be up a creek without a paddle!...As it is, I please myself, do what I need to do & sleep well when my head hits my pillow...God bless BPO. :)

Hmm.  Well I think I know which thread it was.   I get home at 1 or 2:30 am and just tried to give a quick hey do this as everyone dealing with situation with this type of breed is told.  I see the thread is not there.  I checked to see if an update regarding a home or decision was decided on.

I haven't a clue if what i said started a storm or not.  Hope not as I really hope rescue in that area was contacted.  They are very good at what they do.

My post wasn't meant as a criticism, meerly the way out safely with the least amount of pain for all involved.

Still worried about it though.  Wish we were able to know what is going to happen.  Now I'm going to worry.

Luv

I really don't see why the thread was deleted.  Whatever happened to free speach.  I read the whole thing and it didn't get that bad.  Heck, if you were on a chat line, it would have been a lot worse.  Actually I may have not read the whole thing because I went out last night and maybe something got posted that was worse then what I saw.  I know that the people who wrote negative criticism weren't very harsh.  They just let their feelings known.  It was a tough topic I know but to have it deleted is sort of wrong I feel.
