2 hours ago i sat down to watch a film. 2 hours later, i got up to say goodnite to my fish, and with a heavy heart and teary eyes, i'm here to inform you all my poor linkin has passed on.
it's strange, i never wanted fish. but somehow, these little guys have worked their way into my heart, and to be honest, since i got them, not a day has gone by when i wasn't excited to wake up in the morning and see them swim to the side of the bowl to greet me. they sit there and wag their little tails, and wish me the best good morning ever. and now, i have a hollow place in my heart.
my linkin has been through a lot. he started out as part of a trio of movie stars in hollywood. then, he narrowly escaped a death by toilet bowl, to be saved by an angel and his partner.....th en he made it through the two hour car ride to get to my house, when he had to say goodbye to his brother mo who did not make the journey. he then managed to pull through numerous batches of fungus, 2 earthquakes, and a 7 hour drive from hollywood to fresno, where he was struck with yet another batch of fungus. just as i thought he had made it, it appears my little friend had already used up all of his lives, and sadly, could not fight again.
linkin, i hope you have a safe journey to your next life...may it be filled with lotsa ladies, a huge fungus free lake, and lotsa lotsa plants and food!
godspeed my good lil' fishie....blin kin, cody, angus, and myself will miss your little wagging tail more than you will ever know!
