YAY! I'm not the only one! I'm thinking of visiting the island one of these days to see about a school...and yes I live in vancouver, on the east side...

Yeah, the last time i went on a ferry, the day was so gray, there were screaming children everywhere and it was so cloudy I couldn't see any scenery... :( Then for my whole stay on the island it rained :'(  Oh well, I' m a bit unlucky that way....

East Van. It takes 45min by bus to get to horshoebay (sp??). I live close to east hastings, but not close enough to have hookers wander through my neighborhood :P

What part of the island do you live on? My parents are in campbell river..it's a really beautiful area...

And damn those ferries! I'm hopping in my dingy and paddling accross to freedom!!!

Yeah, my dad loves the fishing out there, he's constantly bragging about his lin-cod and such. I can't wait to get my fishing rod and have a go at it myself. ;)

Hey if you all have a get together count me in, I live in the next province over. And Tim and I have always wanted to visit BC, and we'd love to me some fellow BPO members  ;D

Definately, Nina probably wouldn't mind either. I just don't know when I could do it, my work schedule is so messed up...I never know when I have to work.. :-\ But we'll think of something.

Also, I need to get Henry up to par on his social skills too. He's still really dog aggressive (he was picked on by other dogs when he was little) and I wouldn't want him upsetting poor Samson.
