BACKYARD PUZZLE

I am trying to figure out how to make our backyard fun for everybody in the house....

We have a PRETTY small backyard and right now our St. Bernard and two small dogs are allowed free reign of it when the ask to go out.

The issue of course, Im sure you can guess is the poop...and poop..... and more poop.

I go out and scoop almost every day...but it still isnt to the point where all of us including our 3 year old daughter can just go back and enjoy it.

What Im wondering, Is there a way to block off a section... then teach them to go there? I dont want to  resort to penning them up during potty time... Any landscaping ideas?

We've done the same thing.  Cowboy, from one of his meds (KBr) has urine that scorches earth so we have a pebbled area of the garden where he goes to pee...and poop.  Also, by feeding him just meat and veg, there is FAR less poop than when he was on kibble.
