Finally figuring things out!!

Well not sure who remembers this from a while ago but I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life (career wise). I was stuck in a cr#p job, that was only contract, thank the Lord. Well that was done in November and since then I have been trying to find out what I want to do. I had been thinking of animal tech, but have since changed my mind. I am going to go to school to become a medical lab technologist. It is a 2 year course, and when I am done I could work anywhere in Canada. And the average pay is about $26 an hour. A job that I would love and great pay...who knew! LOL  :)I have the appication all filled out I just have one part left, visiting a lab, and then hopefully I get in. I also have a job interview today so hopefully that works out. I need to save as much money as I can, as I am going to pay for school myself.
It feels like a large weight has been lifted off my shoulders it is some nice feeling.
So that is why I haven't been on here posting as much as I usually do.

Congrats on finding something you really want to do.  This must be the year of getting fed up with doing what it takes instead of doing something you enjoy.  I am still in the "awakening" phase but it is glad to hear you have realized what you could do that you would enjoy!

Thanks for all the wonderful comments. I really hope that I get into the school, they only accept 32 students. Thank God I did really well in high school. That is how they short list the appicants then they call you in for an interview.
As for the job front, I had a interview yesterday at a placement agency and I have more today and tomorrow, also with placement agencies. So hopefully something comes up soon. I also applied for a job at the placement agency I was at yesterday, as a recruiter. So hopefully they call me. It would be a great job as it is so close to where I live. Like 5 min away from my house.

Well I had an interview yesterday at a lab, they do enviromental testing. It went well I hope that I get it. It is close to home. I would be doing admin work. I should find out today. I also have another interview at a placement agency today as well. And I am getting my hair cut today! It is so long ang it is driving me nuts. So that is the news so far.
