that is very scary. I was very surprised to see that no one acted until the very end. The little girl was doing exactly what my parent's always said to do, "you're not my mom/dad" and still no one was acting.
If that had been a real abduction, it would have been too late. Cheers for the people who did approach the "abductor".
Although not nearly as serious, I saw a similar story Dateline I think did on how people would react to different situations. Children bullying another, a man roughhousing his girlfriend (both black and white couple used), then later a married couple. Also how people would react to racial comments in a conversation. It was surprising as to how little people actually acted. It does not give me much hope for society today.
