Boxes??? Boxes???? Can you say recycle
« on: August 10, 2006, 02:26:39 pm »
I have a question for all .  Does anyone use boxes, any kind and for most of us the bigger the better.

Our guys love them.Especiall y the younger guys,
Lets face it we can buy expensive toys and watch them get torn apart with great fanfare and fun.or we can recycle and let them have the exact same fun with a box.
Everything from a ceral box to a garbarge bag box,to boxes we get from cosco and grocery shopping.

I was just curious if anyone else has found the joys of recyling boxes.
Of course all that being said, there is a mess to clean up once they have been beaten, ripped, torn to pieces.I for one would rather pick up after them without the added grumbling of what that toy cost.

Yup!  Eider thinks the recycling box is his personal toy box.  Paper, cardboard, plastic, cans, everything freshly added to the box is his favorite.  I have to be careful to squash the can lids in the bottom of the cans and squash the cans so he doesn't cut himself.  What a goof!  I always leave one toilet paper roll on the floor in our bathroom so that when he comes up to check on what I'm doing, he collects the roll instead of my shoes or something else I don't want him to have.

Yep, Kaila and Shiner love tearing up boxes and really all sorts of paper items.  Kaila especially loves boxes.  So I usually give her the box that the cokes come in.  My favorite is to give her cracker or cookie boxes and put some of her treats in it and then close it up. Keeps her busy for a short while.
