ok, so we're redoing aidens room (he went bisserk this weekend and at 4am destroyed EVERYTHING in his room, meaning we had to repaint and replace EVERYTHING in it, including furniture.)  so while i'm painting, i go to grab the gallon of finding nemo ORANGE, and don't pick it up high enough dumping it all over my carpet.  a whole bottle of oxiclean later, it still isn't up.

i have so done that.  i like to step in the paint can myself.  it's a personal favorite dumb thing i like to do.    i'm not allowed to paint now. 
how did i get paint out of my carpet?  Do you have a Sam's Club in your town?  they have an industrial carpet cleaner...like a 5 gallon jug of it.  it's blue and smells really good. 
Spray some of that on the paint and let it sit.  then get your steam cleaner out if you have one.  if not you can just scrub it.  i've never tried to get paint out with this stuff but it's worth a try.

i'm going to look for some today!  with 2 kids (and one hubby-kid) and 4 inside dogs, you wouldn't catch me dead without a steam cleaner!  ha ha

i'll get back to you on this but my bro in law is a carpetcleaner by trade so i'll ask him he'll probably have an easy solution
