I dont know what is with him lately. Hes 9 months old now, and he has never ever pooed in the house till the other night, but i figured cause he had thrown up a bunch before hand, maybe he was sick and just couldnt make it. but he tried to do it again last night...he only got one piece of poop out before i caught him...and he tried to do it again this morning. he is getting out to go potty lots...he will go out, go pee, then try and poo in the house as soon as he gets down stairs. what is with this? he always tries to poo in the same corner of the house also.

So now he is peeing in that spot too!!!  ??? ???

what is with this? its like he forgot he was toilet trained?! he didnt even go to the door to go outside, he just went over and wizzed in that spot. He got a very LOUD BAD DOG!!! and a push outside, also he is in his room now for a time out (his dog friend is here right now, so its a big deal to him not to be out here with us) what else can i do? im putting oxyclean on the spot where he peed, is there anything i can use to take the scent out of the carpet, so he doesnt go there again?

thanks

OH NO!!!  It almost sounds like maybe the odor is still there so he thinks it's "his spot" to go.  How old is he?  It could be a dominace test thing too, but it sounds like you're doing the right thing by getting his attention and taking him outside as soon as possible.  You may need an odor removing product like Nature's Miracle or something similar to get all the pee/poop smell out of that area.  Good luck!

I've heard white vinegar works, some also say that baking soda, borax, and rubbing alcohol works, but I honestly don't know.  Do you happen to have a blacklight?  If you go over the area with a blacklight the urine crystals will glow and you'll know exactly where to clean.  I've always had really good luck using Nature's Miracle it has enzymes in it and it helps take both the stain and odor away.
