They were created for male dogs. They are suppose to train/housebreak, prevent marking/submissive wetting, and to stop urine spotting from excited puppies or incontinent older dogs. Thats what the catalog ad claims anyways...  :-\

I think I know what you mean, they go around the dogs pelvic area, and it catches any mishaps. I would think that they work, not sure if would help for training,from what I read it works more like a diaper.

Oh got it...like the belly band for tiny dogs. I don't know about how well they work- tiny dog people claim they love them but I dunno. It look a little barbarik to me. Plus, I would hate to be putting my hands on Bears pee-pee. Yuck!
