New odd behaviour from Lola directed at Bubba..

Within the past 3 weeks Lola has started a new and very odd behaviour directed at poor Bubba.

Bubba will just be walking through the kitchen or living room and Lola will litterally bulldoze into his side or from behind and nip his 'man parts'. Poor Bubba will instantly drop to the ground in an effort to protect himself. She will then jump on top of him and try to roll him over so she can continue to bite his private area. Once she starts she won't stop until either he yelps or I correct her and put her in a down stay.

At first I thought it was dominance, but Lola is definitely alpha over Bubba. It's like she's trying to inflict pain vs trying to dominate him.

Can anyone explain this behaviour?

Oh my. I have no idea what the problem is and can't offer any advice but I do sympathize with you and poor Bubba.

Katie our female rotti use to  bite at Pucks privates too. It only ever seemed like she was trying to bug him or get him to play when he didn't want to. I think another approach may have worked better to get someone to play....lol Puck would always correct her and most times just laid down or walked away.

LOL Jenn! I guess it could be that. I swear Lola's only job is to irritate the crap out of poor Bubba. Lola's play is a very pushy in your face type of play involving jumping on his head, humping him and just being a tool. I figured one day he would just tell her he's had enough but he doesn't. With her alpha bitchiness he just tip toes around her.

Funny how the tables have turned.. Bubba used to be the one that pestered Lola to play with him. Although he didn't nip at her woohoo. He would just tackle her whenever he felt like it. LOL But since he's turned 2 he's really starting to calm down and now Lola is the annoying one. Go figure.
