My new boyfriend and I went to Portland to pick up his ten-year old son. I haven't been around there in a long time. The Saturday was kind of strange, but we saw some interesting artwork at the downtown market, then we went up to Martin Luther King, Jr Way and ate at a little Ethiopian restaurant. It was pretty good! I was glad he liked it and so now I have to take him to my favorite one in Seattle.
On the second day we went to find a coffee shop that was unfortunately bought out by a Tulley's and then the boyfriend's friends barbequed for us before departure. We stopped briefly at Multnomah Falls on the way home, but there were so many people.
It was interesting and I'm glad I went. We might go to Kalispell, MT this weekend. I have family there and we plan to hike in Glacier National Park where my grandmother grew up on the shores of Lake McDonald.
