My nekked window is dressed

So i had to Jimmy Rig the wall above the window.  seems apartment construction is far less advanced than home construction.  my wall is soft as sand, hence the shims under the hooks.  but i have a valance. 
i made this style of valance in the kitchen at the house i moved out of when i got divorced.  i loved them so much i decided to use this style here in both of my windows.  they are so easy to slap together.

and i got some more nervous energy to burn on Saturday when i put THIS together.  my first very own teeny weeny dining room table.

Aww!  I love how creative you are!  And I love the teeny weeny dining room table!  I used to have one similar to that except it was really skinney in the middle and the I dunno flappy thingys were much bigger, it averaged out to be the same size as yours just differently.
