getting hit real bad right now

hello we got pooped on by the sky for about 12 hours solid and its still going had to snow blow 2 foot of snow from the driveway
but of course whilst chav and porter can only handle the cold for about 2 minutes Arkyd's been having some real fun

we arent having a big snow fall, but its snowing and blowing. its pretty chilly. and we had just come inside. and BRRR now im cold again from lookin at your pictures. LOL

15 Below this monring in MSP with a wind chill of -45.  The southern half of the state's interstates were shutdown yesterday due to white out conditions.  When is spring???

I actually feel blessed to have a northern dog!!  He just loves this ridiculous weather in Chicago!  He doesn't mind the rain, snow, wind, cold...AND THAT'S ALL IN ONE DAY!!!!!

He's so sweet, never complains- oh yeah, unless it's time to come in the house!

We're getting hit really bad right now too.  This morning on my way into work I had to pull over to the side of the road to give first aid to a guy who got smashed up pretty good in his car.  Ended up being 1/2 hour late for work 'cause we had to wait for the fire department, at least it was a good reason for being late though.  I hope everyone out there who is getting this bad weather is staying safe and driving REALLY carefully!!

Your pupper loves the snow I see Miles loves the snow too. SO much that on our walks, when we start getting close to home, he'll just plop down in it and pretend like he can't move any part of his body. So I end up dragging him home. He'll finally get up because he's tired of being dragged. And then he'll plop again two steps later. I'm sure people are watching me from afar thinking, "man, that woman is not nice to her dog"....but he doesn't care that he gets dragged (obviously).

We got a nice dump of snow too. Not as much as Chicago, as we were sort of at the tip of it.....but we got about 6 inches since last night, and it's still snowing.

And good for you Alex, for helping that person in the car accident. That was very nice of you.

We got hit bad too.  Hubby and I both work at one of the 900 schools that were closed today, so HAPPY SNOW DAY!  We slept in, Kana too and then went for breakfast.  Then we harnessed up Kana and took a long walk...with a snowboard!  I ran in front with dehydrated duck pieces and John held the snowboard cord.  Kana pulled like h*ll in between!  He only lasted about 2 blocks (he's out of shape now that it's winter) and then we finished the walk in elbow deep snow (for him)!  It was awesome!  It was so quiet and we did a lot of 'investigating' around the 1/2 frozen river near our house.  Kana has been sleeping soundly for the rest of the day 
Gotta love the midwest weather!!!  I will have a video camera soon to post vids of our boy in his favorite environment!

We are to get 12-14 inches of snow starting this evening into tomorrow afternoon. Some areas will get up to 20 inches.

When will it end!? It was RAINING this morning. Now this.



Thank DOG I don't have to work tonight or tomorrow.

I'm looking forward to it...albeit crazy weather! If we are out of school again, I can spend time with Kana outside and watch him play, play, play!  I love it!!! 
Did you grow up here Pyr?  I remember that SO many days were like this when I was younger.  20" of snow was winter in Chicago...from November to March.  I love it!  I hate that we have had such moderate winters as of late.  I would love to move to Minnesota or Michigan to have more winter!  Dream is a big farm with many pooches and lots of snow (people are optional)!
