Poor, poor FDIL!!!! I'm so sorry Angus had such a tough time.  Gyps and I are thinking maybe we need to take a little trip up there and teach that clinic some manners!!!!  SHHHEEEEEESH!!!   It sounds like an absolute day from H*LL!!

When we put our balls on our Christmas trees, we'll have to think kind thoughts about our poor boys that don't have them anymore!  As my old Irish mother used to say  "Balls said the Queen!!  If I had two I'd be King!!"

Give Angus cuddles from us and have Bear loan some drools so he'll feel comfortable when he meets his future cousins!!!

Angus needs a big piece of steak with some ice cream for dessert.

Man it really makes me mad these days that it is so dern hard to get the actual veterinarians to talk to you! NO, I don't want to speak to a vet tech! I used to be one, and well they just don't know everything!!! They might know more than the average person or they might not!!!
I'm glad that doctor finally called you, though. I just don't think it should be this hard. Last several times I've been to a vet's office I have never even seen the doctor, just techs everywhere, as if the doctor is the king or queen and I am some undeserving peasant who isn't worthy!!
Ok that's a rant, eh?

Wangus got "tutored".  Well, it rhymes with tutored, anyway!   ;)

That's one of my favorite Far Side cartoons!

I love that one too!  I was hoping someone would pick up on my warped sense of humor!   :D

no big deal!  everyone has to deal with their fair share of it right?  it's just a perk of owning a doggie.

update:  i kinda wish angus was still on a sedative...it was nice.  he is all about the hyper again, and constantly wanting to play.  he annoys cody, cody annoys him....and then i have to yell at them both to stop it.  i feel bad, lol, all they wanna do is love eachother.  anyway, he is back to his old self, hyper, hungry, thirsty, and trying to eat people.....it's swell.

Your vet sounds crappy.  I know it sounds harsh but it's what I think.  Both my boys are neutered and neither cried, vomited or anything when I picked them up from the doctors.  Both acted as if nothing happened and although they were happy to run in the car, they didn't seam traumatized by the event.  Same with my cat.  I had her declawed (i know it's wrong, but it's a long story) and she was jumping around on her paws the minute she got home.  Oh well, at least it's over and he'll be his old self again soon.  I'm glad he's ok now.  I know how nervwracking being in the vet can be.  One idiot vet used staples when Maxwell got his dew claws removed and when we went back to take them out Maxwell almost bit the other vet and I almost fainted.  I'm one tough lady but hurt my boys and I'm a blubbering mess!!
